What he means I think is that the US can't bail Europe out this time. Good Luck.

No what he means is that Angela Merkel has to pay.
And probably she will once again bend over and do so.

An even bigger test will be if France and these Euro countries can maintain social cohesion in midst of all the economic panic. There is a lot of talk about the Great Depression and the 30's and that but no one mentions that the social dynamic is changed by mass immigration.

There seems to be no system that works. Capitalism, Socialism, Communism.... and any others. Time to get my nails done.

" Time to get my nails done."
That's the attitude of our autocrat "deputies". Punch in on a morning for 15k tax free a month and then bog off for a day of golf or whatever it is these people do. The biggest scam of the 20th century.
It's almost amusing reading some people's gloating about the trouble in the eurozone. The problems will effect everyone if the euro goes tits up.

Japangal:
Capitalism would work if they let it. The problem lies within all these idiotic megalomanic political schemes like the Euro.
Madverts:
If the Euro goes tits up, then at least the cause of the disease is removed. Before a cancer patient can get better, you have to remove the tumor. And yes, it hurts. But ever bigger bailouts just to ease the pain only make it worse.

That's because you're introducing the term cancer willi.
The Euro isn't the problem in itself, the problem is the way that is was implemented from the start, mixed with the kind of accountancy from certain mamber states that would land you or I in jail for a considerbale term . Obviously, the total and utter abuse of the system by fat-cat Euro deputies pillaging the coffers doesn't help either. I don't know if any of you have seen this German reportage, I think you can fix the subtitles in English but even if you can't it's worth watching it just to see how truly these people have been taking us all for a ride:

Name and shame and dismiss.
