People forget too soon the warehouse's found full of charcoaled bodies Gadaafi and his sons left as their final legacy to Libya.

He's getting off lightly with tooth-ache.

"Many many more were killed by NATO's "humanitarian assistance"."

I'm not sure you can back that one up, since the Mad Dog put every single Libyan he could between him and death until he finally snuffed it.

NATO casualties will have been genuine mistakes, although unacceptable they're a far cry from chaining people up and setting them on fire by the hundreds inside a warehouse.

Many many more were killed by decades of Gadhafi's rule and even more in the future if his family continued.

Yeah, that is indeed the impression the media and western governments are trying to give.

I am sure there is plenty of stuff from the MSM or the government that you not only believe but use to make comments. Why do you feel you must constantly tell people what they should or should not believe? While I did not think getting involved in Libya was the best move to make, I neither think Gadhafi was the angel you seem to be attempting to make him out to be either.

Seems you don't like people having a different opinion form yours

Your having a different opinion has nothing to do with it. It is healthy for there to be different opinions about things. It is the fact that you constantly seem to be suggesting the media is not telling the truth. Then when it suits you, you quote them claiming it is true just because it supports your argument. I find it rather disengenuous.

By the way, I just have a different opinion than yours about the subjects discussed. I certainly have not distorted anything, though you really do love that word "distorted". When necessary, I have quoted you, but I have done so word for word.

My problem is not with your opinions about the articles. Whether I disagree or not, you have every right to voice your opinion. However, why do you feel the need to educate us on the media? Do you think we need to be spoon-fed? Just give your opinion. No need to tell us how or what to think about the media, especially when you clearly do think they tell the truth since you quote them. So please stop telling people what to think about the media and just give your opinion about the stories here instead. Is that too much to ask?

Now, as to Gadhafi, you think he was more popular than Obama? Why do you think so? Gadhfafi ruled Libya with an iron fist. Dissidence was not tolarated. How are you so sure of how popular he was when opposing opinions were not allowed in his country?

Don't get me wrong, I think it was a mistake to get involved and I think it is possible that it will come to bite back in the form of an extremist government. I just don't see that he was nearly as popular as you suggest.
