Netanyahu complains of Hamas resisting ( unfairly?) the state of Israel that has shelled civilian populations with tank shells containing 'flechettes' and has used white phosphorous that cannot be extinguished using water. The number of children being killed on a daily basis by Israel exceeds the number of Hamas soldiers being killed. It is no wonder that the Israeli Justice Miniister does not want any investigation as then Israel's crimes would be on show for all to see.

When would be doctors talk of becoming extremists then Israel has surely chosen the wrong path.......

then Israel has surely chosen the wrong path.......

While Hamas chooses the "right" path by using 800,000 tons of concrete and billions in aid to build terror tunnels, bunkers, launching pads for missliles and buys weapons instead of using it to improve the lives of ordinary Palestinians in Gaza.

Hamas’ bosses are living a life of luxury. Haniyeh bought 27,000 square feet of beach-side property a few years ago for $4 million, pays for his children to study in Europe, and sends his family members to hospitals inside Israel. Meanwhile Gazans languish in poverty.

People protesting against Israel are doing the Palestinians no favours whatsoever. If you really care about the ordinary people in Gaza, get out there and protest against Hamas, whose whole raison d’etre is killing people in order to bring about the rule of its fundamentalist and radically intolerant brand of Islam—they shoot Jews, and they also shoot anyone else they don't like, including Egyptian soldiers, gays, and political opponents from other Palestinian factions.

I'm against the occupation of Palestine, but that said, Hamas protects its weapons using its people, while Israel does the opposite.

Hamas Rejects Ceasefire Efforts, Will Never Agree To Demilitarization

"We reject the cycle of ceasefire and negotiations," said Hamas' political chief Khaled Mashal on Wednesday night at a press conference in Qatar. "We rejected it today and we will reject it in the future."

Mashal stressed that Hamas will never agree to demilitarization as part of negotiations. "No one will break the resistance with Allah's help. Under the table they talk about disarming the resistance of its weapons. No one can disarm the resistance with Allah's help."

He said there were only two conditions for demilitarizing Hamas: "The first is the end of the occupation and the second is the disarming of Israel from its weapons."

Israel should not stop until it achieves its objectives, which unlike Hamas, is not the gleeful annihilation of its "Zionist Entity" enemy with ALL their women, children and innocents, but rather as simply stated yet again by the head of the IDF: "Our interest is to finish with the matter of the tunnels."

Don't stop until you've destroyed all of Hamas' tunnels.

Our interest is to finish with the matter of the tunnels

That's ALL Israel wants?

Netanyahu reacted furiously to news of the planned U.N. investigation, aware of the damning report into Israel’s 2008/09 Gaza operation, which killed more than 1,000 Palestinians.

Naturally, Netanyahu wants nothing to dispel the illusion that the Isrealis are every bit as inhumane as their foes. As Miko Peled, former IDF officer and son of an Israeli general puts it: "Israel's defense forces are the best trained, best equipped, best fed terrorist forces around."

Japonaise:

" While Hamas chooses the "right" path by using 800,000 tons of concrete and billions in aid to build terror tunnels, bunkers, launching pads for missliles and buys weapons instead of using it to improve the lives of ordinary Palestinians in Gaza. "

....and placing the bunker entrances and weapons launch sites as close to civilian centers as possible, using its population as human shields. The Hamas defenders never seem to notice that. And has UN yet commented on the cache of rockets found in the UN-run school in Gazah? While Ban is lambasting Israel, I have not heard him comment on the UN allowing Hamas to use the UN school as a weapons storage site.

Japonaise: nice avitar, lol. It appears that your eyes can only see the faults of Palestine, while blinded to all the faults of Israeli actions. Two wrongs don't make a right and both sides continue this exstremly repetitive, violent actions & reactions! Also, I have noticed a pattern of the IDF electronic army, because they only get paid to post on Israeli subjects they never post about anything else. Your profile shows that 100% of your comments are only pro Israeli actions while every Palestinian action. I guess Japan and the rest of the world have no importance to you.

It is certainly interesting to note that many of those who post most often in total support of recent IDF actions in Gaza or pro Zionist ideology and politics in general or simply against Hamas serially with the same stock phrases ("Blame Hamas!") seem to have very little if any interest in ever posting comments on unrelated topics concerning Japan.

I guess Japan and the rest of the world have no importance to you.

Wrong guess. Because of my background I just happen to feel very strongly about the situation in that area of the Middle East. I also happen to know a lot about the history and background of this topic.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Japonaise: So because of your "background", you NEVER make comments on ANY other subjects at JT?? Lol! If you know so much about Israeli history maybe you can explain why Israel has broken more UN resolutions than any country in the WORLD? Or why they continue to build more (internationally recognized as) ILLEGAL settlements, destroy palestanian water aquifers and almost 8000 palestanian olive trees? (In 2013) Are those basic necsessities now considered a threat to Israel. As I've stated many times, I still don't understand why Palestine continues to fire rockets into Israel, it only gives Israel an excuse to perpetuate more violent responces. Both sides are caught in a horrible repetitive cycle of violence hatred and intolerance. The two are more alike than they care to admit, only one side is much more well funded. That's another world record Israel holds, the receiver of the most military arms and funding by another country.

Japonaise: So because of your "background", you NEVER make comments on ANY other subjects at JT?? Lol!

I'm not the kind of person who normally comments at all on these kind of websites. I don't usually read JT. I just happen to be personally involved in this particular case. However I see that comments are starting to get personal and impolite so I shall stop. Peace to the Palestinians and Israelis.

Japonaise: I apologize for being impolite, I was only responding to your what you had written. I'm glad that you wish for peace between Israel and Palestine! Because everything you posted, only pointed faults with Palestine, I assumed that you thought Israel could do no wrong. If you know about history in the ME, you would realize that both sides are guilty of perpetuating this conflict.

"American aviation authorities extended a ban on U.S. flights to Tel Aviv for a second day, spooked by rocket salvoes out of the Gaza Strip"

Hamas is still firing rockets at Israel. Incredible...

It makes this very easy when you're getting 1 million a minute by mother USA

Okay let’s see……. A million a minute is 60 million an hour, so 24 hours is 1.44 billion. Now, at $1,440,000,000.00 a day, that would work out to $525.6 billion a year. Amazing! That’s more than the military spending of Russia, the PRC and the whole EU combined!

Reminds me of a conversation I had with a young Indonesian guy who was going to college in Australia. When he found out I lived in the US he was very concerned. He told me that he saw an electronic clock display in Sydney that counted ahead every ten seconds; that was how often someone was murdered with a firearm in the US. Wow! Over 3 million gun murders a year.

Often times, people will throw out some pretty wild numbers in support of their own pet peeve or agenda. But for the sake of their credibility it might be wiser if they did a little work with a calculator first.

@Kuya 808

You're right. I wrote minute when I should have written day.
