It would appear that Gingrich is not the "eviscerating" presenter of positions that some on these boards -- now in hiding -- have touted.

Maybe Gingrich needs himself a big fancy teleprompter.

Gingrich needs to move to Japan to have an "asahi." He has no possibility of winning the presidency or vice-presidency. There is only a slight chance of an ambassadorship to some insignificant nation.

Newt is doing so bad he's not even going to be able to cash out with a lot of donor money. How pathetic.

Did a Trump? Check. Gingrich? - how's that workin' fer ya? Next up: Michele Bachmann! In this Republican race to the bottom, I never conceived that the bottom could be so, so deep.

Looks like he's well qualified for the position of President of the United States.

    Go, go, go, President Newt!

It's still early. Gingrich never had a chance anyway. Better to get these no chance political hacks out of the way early, and let someone who knows what they are doing actually get heard.

The GOP's going nowhere in a hurry.

Funny to see Trump flame out before he even announced he was in. Especially after talking to donors and visiting all the right first-vote states. Huckabee's withdrawl means Christians have no one to support, and frontrunner Mitt has flip-flopped so many times, I don't think he - let alone conservatives - know where he stands. With such a weak field, I think it's dawning on the GOP that besides Mitt....they.don't.have.any.serious.candidates.for.2012.

They might have to sit this one out until 2016. Barring any huge surprises, it's looking like Obama's going to win reelection just by waking up on election day. :-)

I reckon it was a masterstroke of Obama's team to announce their fundraising goal of $1 billion. I'm sure many potential conservative candidates have decided 'I can't match that.'

Slick thing is, Obama hasn't raised $1 billion...he's too smart for their own good. :-)

Visit a few conservative sites and you will see the general consensus is that Gingrich was taught a lesson he needed to learn.

The emerging crop of Republican presidential candidates come across as infuriated children who actually make Obama appear suave by contrast. Spin can only take them so far before voters realize this sort of behavior is not the way to get a candidate elected.

Gingrich should quit while he is... I mean... he should quit.

The only thing I like about Gingrich is that he refuse to follow the Republican's lead to privatize Medicare.......

Other than that, I do not agree with everything he says.
