Greek economy is a basket case and the eurozone has been lending them money just to pay the interest on loans that they, the eurozone, gave them. Something has to give.

Basically they've kicked the can down the street for the next four months.

Eurozone is just like another Federal Reserve Bank, it sucks nothing but blood.

A deal between Greece and EU has been struck yesterday. But one may like to have a look at the deal. It is for four months instead of six months asked by Greece. Then, some conditions are also said to be attached. Some comprehensive reforms list is to be submitted by Greece through their Inspectors to the Creditors within a week for satisfaction So when this writer said on 18 February 2015 that planetary influences against compromise are growing stronger than those in favor of compromise, it obviously also meant that compromise may not be as comfortable as what exactly Greece is asking for. In short, it can be said that the deal struck yesterday suggests a partial and weak deal in line with this writer's prediction.

Stupid stupid stupid. They just keep postponing the inevitable, making the eventually required exit ever more painful. And the return to national currencies is the ONLY solution to this problem, which fundamentally caused by Euro currency.

And it is not that this is a unique event.... read up on the breakdown of the Latin Monetary Union, which the politicians also tried to defend long after everybody had realized it was a disaster. The statements made then are almost a carbon copy of what we are hearing now.

Not making the same mistake twice? Too difficult for the Euro politicians.

The deal is only good until Monday night. It can still implode.

I don't see how the radical left can stick to it, make a deal work and appease voters at home after promising all those unicorns.
