It's only a matter of time before the Obama adoring media are forced to report on the deteriorating conditions inside Iraq although they will likely deflect any criticism on the current administrations bungling of the war or look into how Obama's announced pullout dates has led to the resurgence of bombings and executions.

As the Obama administration pulls out of Iraq in order to go on a gigantic wild goose chase in Afghanistan, there will be more of this, much more.
The only difference is that the Obama-infatuated media will contine to blame Bush for whatever goes wrong in the next 8 years.

Obama's foreign policy is already showing it is flawed. The war that was almost won in Iraq is turning in favor of the bad guys, due to cut and run policies.
We must be prepared fot a massive rise in attacks in Iraq and possible attacks on the US, all because of Obama's weak policies.

Funny to watch the above posters FINALLY breath a sigh of relief that they can admit Iraq was and is a HUGE mistake, and without the guilt of having to betray the man who started it all (and yes, VOR, the Iraq war was started by bush; not by Clinton... nor did it mysteriously start with Obama, in case you're suffering from memory lapses as to who started it again).
News flash: we've been saying Iraq is unstable from the get-go, and it has been. What's happening now has been happening since the illegal invasion occurred; it didn't start with Obama, so drop the denial. It's okay to admit you were wrong, boys.

smithinjapan; The liberationj of Iraq was needed to protect us from Saddam and his palns with terrorists to attack the US and our allies.
Thsi attack has been siccessfull. Only since Obama became president have attacks increased and fear returned to Iraq.

It started with Bush Sr.
Iraq was never really stable to begin with, having been basically gerrymandered into existence by the same empire that gerrymandered Canada into existence.
The war did continue under Clinton. Perhaps you are too young to recall the no-fly zones, enforced by the US and the UK.
Iraq Liberation Act - signed by Bill Clinton. Have a look -

Bush announced on national TV during the presidential debates of 2000 his intention to effect regime change in the heart of the region.
9-11 only strengthened his resolve.
It's entertaining to watch you insist Bush created tens of thousands of terrorists as you simultaneously try to assert on other threads that Islam is inherently no more violent than is Buddhism.

The inconvenient truth for the left is the fact that Iraq War won unanimous support in both the House and the Senate by an overwhelming majority of Democrats and Republicans. Withdrawing their support while our troops were fighting and dying in the streets of Iraq was an act of cowardliness not seen since the French surrendered to the Germans during the onset of WWII. Its understandable they have made an all out effort to make it appear that it is George Bush's war to distance themselves from their own responsibility for getting us into quagmire. What worries me now is how quickly the conditions in Iraq are falling apart after our wet behind the ears commander in chief announced the troop pull outs. Yup, now this is starting to look like Obama's Vietnam.

An inconvenient truth indeed. It was in fact a mistake for the Democrats to support the 2nd war in Iraq. It is insanity to say that because we made a mistake that we need to continue along that path without any modification. The American public saw that in both the Iraqi war effort and our Republican caused economic woes it was time to change course.
The Democrats did not come up with the idea to invade Iraq a second time; that was all on Bush. Bush gets all the blame as Commander in Chief. As the foremost military leader in our country the buck stopped on him and only him. VOR must lack military experience, unlike myself, or if he has it, he never learned the most important rules and regulations. Anybody with half a brain in the military knows what Command in Chief actually means; for that matter I believe almost every civilian also knows and it is clear that the many good folks from other countries on this thread also know. Bush and Cheney were discussing the invasion of Iraq on 09.11.2009. There are records that prove that. IT WAS INDEED BUSH'S WAR. It takes a real weasel to stand up for Bush and deny that he is responsible for this war. I am certainly willing to admit the liberal/Democratic support but make no mistake - it will always be BUSH'S WAR.
"Our wet behind the ears commander in chief [Commander in Chief]" George Bush got us into an idiotic war. VOR can't stand that this will go down in history as one of the most stupid actions a president has ever made. At least in Viet Nam the ignorance was that Communism could envelope all of Asia and be a threat to the world. No such claim could even remotely be attributed to the 2nd invasion of Iraq by the U.S. It was stupid. If it had been justified, which it was not, the timing would have still made it an entirely stupid act. The Neo-Con's decision to invade Iraq will go down as one of the stupidest acts in world military history. The French and the Germans were right and we Americans were wrong. You will find that VOR can never admit he was wrong or admit that a group he is part of, was wrong.
Failure to admit ones mistakes is a sign of weakness and cowardice. It is an act of strength to stand up and admit you made a mistake and face the consequences. To admit you were wrong and face criticism from one's detractors shows character; this kind of character all Neo-Con's lack.
It is also hypocritical for the conservatives to claim it is cowardice to leave when we have made a mistake. I didn't hear the conservatives screaming out that we should stay in Somalia. They were very clear that we needed to get out. Boy, you want to talk about cut and run; Reagan did just that. Maybe the Neo-Cons on this thread are too young to remember the bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut, Lebanon on 10.23.1983. Maybe VOR would care to tell us about our response to that suicide bombing?????? Osama bin Laden has stated the success of that suicide mission led him to view America as a Paper Tiger. He was not involved but gained inspiration to proceed in his future of terror. (Note: see conversations with OBL and Ali Mohamed. Also: UNITED STATES OF AMERICA v. ALI MOHAMED)
For those who are unaware, a suicide bomber killed 241 Marines that Reagan had sent to Beirut, Lebanon. Then Reagan high-tailed it out of there.
From article:
What these incompetent conservatives fail to mention is that Bush set this deadline.
Even the earliest plans of the majority Democrats to withdraw from Iraq were scaled in nature and provide consistent funding for the troops. Don't believe the lies on the right.
Can you just imagine someone mentioning "Commander in Chief" in a comment and then denying responsibility for a war which the C in C solely planned and then implemented? It just goes to show the credibility involved of such comments.
I hope someone defends VOR and says it was not BUSH'S WAR because they would simply be implicating themselves equally as insincere, incompetent or deceitful.

Liberals will do back flips to shuck responsibility for their part in going to war or the role they have played over the years in destroying the national economy. You have to be a real dimwit to believe everything the Republicans did was evil and everything the Democrats did was good. Both parties deserve equal blame and calling this George Bush's war is just more of the same idiocy that has landed the US is so much trouble.
Bush did not have dictatorial powers as the left would have you believe. The Republicans never had the numbers in congress to do what they wanted to do without getting Democratic support during Bush's entire presidency. Democrats contolled one house of congress then both during the last four years of Bush so only an uneducated idiot would believe the Democrats had no responsibility what so ever in the policies that shaped the nation of the last 8 years. Only an idiot can blame one party and not both for the current problems facing our country.
