It seems someone is determined to take Oil to $100/barrel for Christmas Gift ! Huge loss of revenues while U.N is expressing concerns over poverty.

Hell of a way to lose a war -- running out of petrol. I guess the same thing happened to Rommel's Afrika Corps.

Just goes to show that Pakistan is no friend to the US. Time to move on to Plan B, leave Pakistan to their own flood problem, their own financial problems, and their own islamic problems.

29 tankers torched. That's a lot of destruction, not to mention pollution.

Where is the outrage from the environmental crowd on the Left?

Oh, I forgot, all of their supposed causes (womens rights, the environment, gay rights) are sacrificed and abandoned if the aims conflict with the anti-civilization aims of militant Islam. Funny, that.

If you leave hundreds of tankers parked, then you know that militants/fighters/terrorists/criminals will come and take a pop at them. This they have done, happily and repeatedly over the last two weeks. No mention of anyone being around to catch them at it or ambush them, though. Free rein shooting gallery?

What a mess! Pakistan must repent and prove to NATO and the USA that it is not the same Alkaiduh.

Where's the anguish from the American Right, the ones who supported this was as well as the last one while they watched their country go bankrupt?

Never was, never will be. The only reason Pakistan even matters is because they have nukes. An Islamic nation with nukes is a serious problem.

Tell that to the Taliban, they are not wanted in Afghanistan or Pakistan.

I don't think so. Pakistan is under no obligation to prove anything to USA (by the way, NATO = USA)

The only reason Pakistan even matters is because they have nukes. An Islamic nation with nukes is a serious problem.

The only reason Washington hasn't invaded Pakistan is because it has nukes. Personally I don't find an Islamic nation with nukes and more worrisome than the fact that the USA has them (and has used them, twice).

    edit:

should ready "Personally I don't find an Islamic nation with nukes and more worrisome than the fact that the USA has them (and has used them, twice)."

    Damn, forgot to edit.

Personally I don't find an Islamic nation with nukes ANY more worrisome than the fact that the USA has them (and has used them, twice).

Well George Bush was either being politically expedient or he is an idiot. Either way, there is no friendship between the US and Pakistan.

Personally I don't find an Islamic nation with nukes and more worrisome than the fact that the USA has them (and has used them, twice).

Then apparently you haven't been keeping up with current events. FYI there's Islamic terrorism occurring throughout the world today, much of which is exported from Islamic nations. Best they don't get access to nukes.
