The poorest a country is, the most corrupted it is, the most difficult it gets to reconstruct after a disaster of that scale. Fortunately for us, Japan is a completely different case. It is very unfortunate though that the Haitian people have to suffer once again despite the huge amount of money that was donated by millions of people.

What would you expect? Haiti actually taxes charitable organizations that come to Haiti to help the poor. That is how corrupt that sh*thole is. If you are an NGO going into Haiti to help alleviate the suffering, you have to pay the government for the privilege of doing the job that government should be doing.

All the millions of dollars and hours spent by President Clinton, et al, as well as the UN has done absolutely nothing. It is one of the saddest, corrupt, wealth stealing activity of this century. Do the people who stole from the people of Haiti care. Absolutely NO. It doesn't matter to them who lives and who dies. Just fill their bank accounts. Do they lose sleep? Absolutely NO. It is the way of life in NK, African dictatorships, and other other countries. Please continue to donate to the Japan relief situation. Something can be done for them.
