'Williams said on his website. “By pulling my opening Oct 3rd, You (ESPN) stepped on the Toes of The First Amendment Freedom of Speech, so therefore Me, My Song, and All My Rowdy Friends are OUT OF HERE."'
Good riddance to this red-neck trash! So now he's playing all tough after apologizing for his words two days ago?

Hope he learned that once the message is delivered, he cannot go back and undo it. It has been DELIVERED, period.

The republican party and its talking heads should all apologize to Obama for their racism. All the loons who said, the majority of the racist republican party, that Obama was born in Kenya or Indonesia should like HW Jr apologize for being so racist. They can start on this JT board, you know who you are.

I'm curious as to what the liberal-never-worked-a-real-job posters will write if Herman Cain is elected President.... Lets see, Mr. Cain worked his way through college (he has a M.S. in Computer Science) and held high positions at major companies versus Mr. Had-a-free-ride-through-college and did some community organizing. Further, at least Mr. Cain has a plan to fix the economy while Mr. "free-ride" just wants to spend more money (we don't have) to create jobs. What jobs? Did you hear, we are even farming out construction jobs to China --- the new Oakland Bay bridge --Made in China!!!

Likening Obama to Hitler was racist? It was stupid. It was in bad taste. I am not sure about racist though. I think likening him to Mugabe would have been racist.
Former President Bush was far more often likened to Hitler. I am fairly sure it is that unspoken equation of Obama with Bush, and not any real concern for race relations, that most angers hyper-partisans here like 'zurcronium' - judging from the extreme tone of his posts, nearly each one an impotent drive-by denunciation of politicians he does not like or a list of incoherent slurs.
Interesting diagram of political affiliation of American TV sports fans (2010). PGA - Obama's game these days - on the extreme right. NHL to the right of the NFL. Monster Trucks and 'Pro-Wrestling' politically on the far left. Can be viewed at

Typical rightwingnut reaction. He's used his right to free speech to say something stupid, only it got his ass fired, so he's now whining about the supression of free speech.
Heh. What a crank. It's like blaming your driving instructer years after the test for mowing down a pedestrian whilst intoxicated on crystal meth.
Typical radical braindeadness.

Disney Co., the parent company of ESPN, is more right-leaning network too.

I'm waiting for the right wing in the country to start calling hank a traiter like they did the Dixie Chicks. I'll be waiting a long time.
And what is it with conservatives and the first amendment? Why do they have no idea how it works? Not playing your crappy song prior to Monday Night Football does absolutely nothing to your first amendment rights you drunken git.
Hank Sr. must be rolling in his grave over this disgrace of a son.

"I'm waiting for the right wing in the country to start calling hank a traiter like they did the Dixie Chicks"
And all they did was apologize for Bush.
Geezer looks like a cross between a Village People reject and a Gay Pride reveller anyways. He won't be missed.

Hard to tell if journalists are this stupid, or if they are playing the readership, knowing they are that stupid. He did not "compare" Obama to Hitler.
If he instead said "Its like Coca Cola meeting Moon Rocks" would they say that he compared Obama to Coca Cola and it just must have been because both are black?
Using Hitler in analogies is common as dirt, and one would think y'all would be used to it by now. Its like the limbo game is being played with IQs rather than bodies these days. But I think some of you actually know better, and are just playing along to tear someone down. And you know what? That is actually more shameful than being too stupid to understand what was said.

Comparisons to hitler are that common?
Perhaps you could provide some examples.
If Bush was compared to Hitler it was because of his bent on invading, and portraying dissent at that time like the Nazi's, as in saying they are comforting the enemy.
Any comparison to hitler is a charged accusation.

Well, if you were talking to me, what I said was that analogies are common, not comparisions, And while comparisions are a type of analogy, Hank's analogy was obviously not a comparision.
unreconstructed, nice link. I appreciate the creator amassing all those references, although I don't agree with his gist. Rightists sure get mad when people accuse them of thinking and acting like other rightists. Nothing is further from being a Nazi than being a liberal. Even communism has more in common with fascism than liberalism. The way conservatives attack liberal ideals is just another reason they get compared to Nazis.
But I say again, Hank's words were not a comparison.

Sorry, I meant to say, not a comparison of the type people are making it out to be.

You said hitler comparisons are as common as dirt. Yet beside the only one I could think of, you can't provide any can you?
Bush made his own bed, and used tactics from Dr Goebells to silence dissent in the rush to attack Iraq. Good luck making a case like that for the Obama administration!

The above is called a cut and paste. It lets everyone know who is talking to whom. And here is another:
I wrote that. Did you see the word "comparisons" in there? Do you spell it a-n-a-l-o-g-i-e-s?
No need. His statement was not that kind of analogy nor was it a comparison of Obama to Hitler. It was a comparison of situations, not people. Or do you think Boehner is somehow comparable to Netanyahu too? His analogy was like mine using cola and moon rocks and that is why I wrote it. In fact he could have said cats and dogs, a Hatfield and a McCoy, Krushchev and Kennedy, Lee and Grant, etc. etc. Its just that some people can have conniption fits when the name Hitler is uttered.
But unreconstructed smacked you upside with more analogies and comparisons that you could ever want in a lifetime. They are common as dirt. Specifically involving Obama may not be, but it does not matter, since none was leveled at Obama as a personal comparison.

So you have one of the analogies, comparisons?
Unreconstruct did nothing but use the example I'd already given you both. Bush.
And I already said that analogy, or comparison, was fair game.
So let's here the others.

Hear the others, dammit :)
Since they're "common as dirt" hurry along. I haven't got all day.
Oh and your man still looks like a Gay Pride castaway :D
