“I think it’s worth remembering that Hezbollah is a dangerous organization, with al-Manar as its propaganda arm. That fact alone should cast some doubt on the credibility of the group’s claims.”

I think it's worth remembering that the CIA is no flock of angels either.

I am sure the CIA is no flock of angles, but Lebanon?? I am sure they really must hate the USA and Americans in that part of the world, so no fun to be a CIA there and now maybe get tortured?? Killed??

".... after Hezbollah and Lebanese officials arrested scores of Israeli spies in 2009".

More than 40 Israeli spies were caught by Hezbollah in 2009? Hmmm, I'm a regular newspaper reader and don't remember hearing about that. Makes me wonder how credible the rest of the article is.

Is there a country that the US is not trying to subvert or spy on?

kurisupisu - I bet you think the answer to your question is "no."

@kurisupisu, read a non-fictional book about spies and intelligence agencies. EVERY COUNTRY in the world spies on each other if possible (yours included) even if they're friendly with each other. This is a blow to the CIA though, they're losing a lot lately... broken spy network in certain countries and a lost top secret drone. Only success they've had so far was getting the location of Osama bin Laden in Pakistan. 1 step forward and 2 steps back.

Do you think it's just coincidence that Iran uncovered CIA operatives in the ME last week and now HbA 'announces' this? It seems to point to "cooperation" btwn those two entities.

Yeah.... there is always a MOLE in any spying organization. Dose of their own medicine.

Spying is one thing but then comes regime change and millions of people are killed.

The biggest war mongering country on the planet is the USA.

    The facts speak for themselves.......
