It is same as Air/Marine exercise between two nations. They need to practice and help each other. Nothing is good or bad...reporting(thinking) makes it so.

    Bring the troops home.

Now Iraqis are going to Iran and getting Iranian contractors to come to Iraq and train Shiites to fight against the US forces.

But, let's follow John McCain's suggection and stay there 100 years. < :-)

What he actually said was he has no problems staying there for 100 years if it is a stable and safe situation. But out-of-context soundbytes are so much fun.

WilliB - You fail to realize, you can rewrite his meaning all you want. John McCain is willing to forfeit American tax dollars and lives for 100 years or more to maintain a force in Iraq, similar to what we have in Korea or Japan or Germany, period. that's what he said. I know exactly what he said.

So you'd be willing to give $Trillions of dollars away also to stay in Iraq and maintain a force, if John McCain says he want's one there. You don't have to rewrite your post. You're totally understood. < :-)
