Closer to Armageddon.

Glad to see that the Syrian people have loyal friends (Hezbollah) to help defend themselves from foreign terrorists (aka rebels)..

In cases like this where reporting is biased the government is often called a regime. Syria is required to fall at an human cost to ensure the eventual attack on Iran.

There is no such thing as "the Syrian people". Hizb-Allah is a Shiite terrorist organization, and naturally supports the Alevite (Shiite) Assad regime. While our new best friends, the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Quaeda, are Sunni terrorists who hate the Shiites and want a Sunni Sharia regime installed.
The relatively secular Assad regime was the best option for Syria. The West is making a disastrous mistake by supporting the Muslim Brotherhood/Al Quaeda "rebels" who want to replace it.
Apparently, Western politicians like Obama have learned nothing from the horrible mistake the US made in remove Saddam Hussein in Iraq.

Uh? The Syrian people are those who are citizens of Syria; most of them live in Syria. The vast majority of the so-called rebels are not Syrian people, they are mostly foreign mercenaries hired to terrorize the Syrian people.
BTW, I don't think Hezbollah is considered a terrorist organization by most of the world. Those who do consider Hezbollah as a terrorist organization are generally the same regimes who are now backing these so-called rebels.

Superlib, From wikipedia: "The governments of the U.S., Netherlands, Bahrain, France, U.K., Australia, Canada, and Israel classify Hezbollah as a terrorist organization, in whole or in part."
That is clearly less than half of the world, but go ahead and LOL if it pleases you.

Not that I am cheering for one group over an another but I just want to state a fact.
8 countries do not represent the entire world. I can name 10 countries which do not classify Hezbollah as a terrorist organization including UN. Belgium, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Italy, France, Japan, Russia, South Korea. I can also name a few more. So it would be more correct of you to say that Hezbollah is considered to be a terrorist organization among very few countries in the world but not the majority.
Muslim Brotherhood is not considered terrorists either by the majority of the world. Labeling anyone who you disagree with as "terrorists" is a highly simplistic non constructive way of dealing with foreign relations. But if your aim is to boost US military spendings then by all means, I guess it is in your interests to poing out the danger whether they are real or fiction.

LOL
You're playing a silly little word game as if I don't know what Hezbollah is. If I can "technically say" that Aum Shinrikyo isn't considered a terrorist organization by "a majority of the world," would you take exception every time someone called them terrorists? Convince me.
ultradarkmelvin
You can laugh as much as you want, but it is a fact that most countries in the world do not look at Hezbollah as a terrorist organization. I do not need to convince you, I am just coming with a fact. Unlike you.
SuperLib
LOL
Convince me about Aum Shinrikyo. If a "majority of the world" hasn't declared them a terrorist organization, then admit that they are not terrorists. Facts. Do it.
