They need to make another stand. Back in '97, some knew it would come to this. One country, 2 systems would never workout. On the other hand, Beijing probably won't blink.

Hong Kong has sadly been living on borrowed time, Beijing will force its plan within its borders without blinking. Just look at their track record.
