Same story this time every year. Might be a good idea to shift the holidays to snow season, so nobody has to go anywhere until it all melts.

Same story this time every year.

Worst snowfall for 50 years since...

Heh, maybe its time to start panicking over the next ice age. Oh, wait, we're still supposed to be panicked over the global warming thing. I get those so mixed up sometimes, and which direction I'm supposed to panic over too.

Molenir: just keep wasting and polluting. you have no impact.

Just keep ignoring facts and wasting energy, etc., my friend. You can explain to your grand children why they can't breathe and there's nothing in the ocean later. How could you have known despite all the signs, right?

In short, funny to watch the fools on here think that climate change would not lead to freakish weather, and instead nit-pick on semantics. It's going to be an extremely sad day when they hear and acknowledge the 'I told you so's.

Usually British Rail laments about receiving "the wrong kind of snow," regardless of the amount, and then blames it on their inability to runs trains at all. Much less on time! Same story, different year.

"funny to watch the fools on here ( who ) think that climate change would not lead to freakish weather"

How about the fools on here who think that human activity is causing freakish weather. It's Mother Nature. Always has been. Always will be.

Hear, hear, Sarge! Couldn`t agree more. Try telling the British people today that there is "global warming." Britain cannot cope with bad weather of any kind - especially snow. This year is one of the worst since the early 1960s, when no-one had ever heard of the "global warming" religion.

Naw, I have a much more cynical view of people then you. I believe that 30 years from now, when my grandkids are born, that the religion will be even more firmly embedded, and any positive changes will be attributed to efforts on behalf of the environment, while any negatives, will of course be used to show more efforts are needed. Reality has very little to do with your religion.

I know. I always laugh whenever I see the idiots parroting their nonsense about hurricanes being caused by global warming. Though its sad as well seeing so many buy into their manufactured hysteria.

So global warming is not happening because it is really cold in the northern hemisphere in January and there is a really really big amount of snow. I love reading such well-reasoned, objective, and unbiased "science" in the morning. And smithinjapan reminds me a lot of the witch in The Holy Grail.

You are behind the curve. It is "climate change" now. So, no matter if it gets warmer or cooler, there is a guaranteed excuse to introduce taxes and government regulation. And since the climate has always changed and always will change...

Al Gore and Manfred Mann are laughing all the way to the bank.
