    Mr.Obama can try but the USA has been built on violence, that is the history of the USA, just like that song goes, your land is my land, from sea to shining sea, oh, millions of native American Indians, happen to be there, shoot them, bring slaves to help on them cotton plantations, now they are free? No problem, get them poor Mexicans off their lands to and get them to pick the cotton, fruits etc..and if they do not like it, HEE HAW we got the NRA, KKK etc..to back up our god given right to take away your land and if you do not like it, BANG! Bang! Good old rifles, machine guns etc..will teach folk how to respect and fear and make $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for the NRA, so as long as America likes this kind of life style, I will not be surprised if some idiot fool goes on a rampage next time at Disneyland?? Disneyworld?? etc..

    @El

    May I suggest laying off the heavy caffein in the morning.

    Trust me, despite the violence. US is still NOT the murder capitol of the world as you might want to believe.

    Funny how conservatives slammed candidate Obama in 2008 when he said Americans cling to guns and religion.

    He was right.

    They do.

    These latest senseless murders - along with all the rest and the way many Americans so bitterly cling to the second Amendment - prove he was right.

    Again

    Murder capitol of the first world. Yeah, America is not Somalia. But it sort of seems like it viewing from here in Japan.

    Violence can never be totally eliminated, but at least we can and should take steps to limit the damage. Guns should only be available to people who belong to well regulated (self regulated) gun clubs (read militias). There is not real reason to have the government much involved. Responsible gun owners could well regulate themselves, but people like the NRA are too paranoid to do anything but fight gun control when they should be doing their own.

    , US is still NOT the murder capitol of the world as you might want to believe.

    So is it okay the way it is, bass4funk? Your post made me to believe so.

    Bass4funk, we are not talking about Olympic here. US is supposed to be the richest country in the world while moral is totally collapsed. One murder is bad enough. Your post reminds me a book of Jobs when we fail to guard our hearts against every evil, then we pay for all bad consequences. Hope you understand what I am talking about.

    And the public is calling for an end by both candidates for the endless nonsense they provide in their speeches and ads on TV. They will do nothing about preventing another tragic event like this in the USA because they can't do anything. So, they need to tell the USA what they will do to provide jobs, etc, so social services can identify and help these senseless people before they strike.

    I am sorry to bassfunk if I hit a raw nerve there, but thanks to all the drug addicts in the USA, and all of the illegal guns and $$$ flowing from the USA down to Mexico, you getting high on drugs up north of the border is creating a blood bath not just south of the border, but heck all the way down to PERU! So, as long as Americans want to get high, listen to crap like Snoop doggy dog and hold on to their UZIs, hand grenades etc..just wait to some idiot racist goes hog wild at Disney World, etc..

    How about an end to senseless, vicious campaign attacks?

    Does it help to lower violence here in US, Serrano? I seriously doubt it.

    @bass4funk

    How much more murders do you want to see before taking this issue seriously, bass5funk?

    There will be 48,000 murders committed by guns for the nest 4 years. It translates there will be THREE massacres like Aurora, CO theater shootings a DAY..

    There have been many many petitions going around in US at this moment, hope you can join us if you are willing to stop Automatic Assault Weapons sales here in US for change. We are committed to make this place as a better place to live for us and for our children. Thank you.
