Years ago, Golda Meir identified conditions essential to peace in the middle East, namely, "Peace will come when the Arabs start to love their children more than they hate us." As quoted in The Agony of the Promised Land (2004) by Joshua Levy, Ch. 23 "The Hope for Peace", p. 187. The participation of a 12-13 year old lad in the suicide-murder episode in Turkey, and other similar episodes elsewhere, indicate, inter alia, that Golda's dictum applies as well to non-Arab Muslims of jihadist persuasion, who clearly still hate "us" (all non-ISIS adherents) more than they love their children.
