India-Afghanistan join hands and US hand-cuffs them. The US has enough proofs of Pakistan ISI's involvement in various attacks. If India and Afghanistan can really join hands, NATO may retire from the region soon.
george bush forgot all about Afghanistan as soon as he attacked Iraq. he has sacrificed the troops in Afghanistan for ambitions for Iraq that never panned out.
Freedom and liberty had nothing to do with the attack of Iraq. < :-)
adaydream; Iraq is now a free market democracy with a flourishing cafe society.
US is still fighting the bad guys in Afghanistan. The bad guys are being destroyed by our brave military. Afghanistan and India are third world countries who cannot fight anything without help from the West (usually US).
adaydream: Agreed. What's more, the US is entirely embarrassed by their comrade Pakistan's harbouring of terrorism, and wishes to avoid the issue as much as possible. They don't want to have to admit that their allies are actually the enemy.
On that note, India fighting 'the terrorists' is likely to include fighting with Pakistan, especially since relations are at an all-time low and accusations are goign back and forth. Of course, both sides have naturally taken on the Bush meaning of the word 'terrorist' meaning, 'one which you do not like or get along with, and who refuses to do what you say', so we're going to hear a lot more bombast from both sides.
Afghanistan: We've been hearing the same thing said from them since Bush decided to forget all about the country in favour of waging an illegal war in Iraq.
Some glorious alliance against terrorism, while Afghanistan has written Sharia into its laws and Pakistan has allowed Jihadists to make their own little Taliban state in North Waziristan.
Empty talk, while they, unsurprisingly, ignore the cause of of terrorism.

USA aint gonna anywhere buddy. We are the worlds policeman, and freedom givers. Nato doesn`t retire from anywhere without our authorisation.
India and Afghanistan are to weak to fight terrorism and gather good intelligence.
Only the Us has the skill and technical ability to defeat the evil ones.

"Iraq is now a free market democracy with a flourishing cafe society. "
You forgot to mention it is now free of WMD too.
President Bush, the greatest President of the USA, ever, also said he wanted the evil-doer perpatrator of 9-11, bin-Laden, "dead or alive".
And he is.
So eat that America haters!
