Yes, that and lop-sided support for a certain conclusion.

At the moment the Iranians are dependent on other countries just to get fuel for its reactors. Of course, the article does not tell you that, and those making the money off the sales don't either. And they sure don't want Iran to be independent of them or their business.

I think its safe to say that while the modern reactors can run (and the article does not say "can" run, but makes it seem like "must" run) on less enriched fuel, that fuel is not going to last as long. That translates into steady business.

It is just as easy to speculate that the Iranians simply want to be energy independent, rather than not only pay through the nose for the fuel, but also be at the mercy of other countries in the event those countries decide to stop selling fuel. --Cirroc

adaydream's greatest fear is Iran's nuclear weapons program will be taken out before they can nuke Israel. The Unholy Alliance is alive and well:

It would be so funny if they blew themselves up in the testing phase..hhhaaaaaaaa." No, it wouldn't. How many nuclear powers are in close proximity? India, Pakistan, Israel, and don't have proof but have a feeling Syria may even have a few.

Personally, I don't think this world needs a nuclear powered Iran. They not only hate the West (Europe, the USA, Israel etc..) but they actually not being Arabs, the Iranians are Persians so they also seem to be having a good time now funding both sides of the Iraqi insurgents (Arabs both Sunnis and Muslims) so the last thing we need is these nuckle heads trying to export their brand of religious terrrorism with nuclear weapons in their arsenals.
