Mark Becker, who was supposed to have been taken to a hospital psychiatric ward after allegedly leading police on a high-speed chase Saturday night

According to court records, Becker threatened a Cedar Falls homeowner with a baseball bat Saturday night, smashed windows at the home and rammed his car through its garage door before leading police on a high-speed chase.

Now, here is a guy that obviously needs to protect himself with lethal firepower. All those voices threatening him, or egging him on...

no real surprise here in this story since similar happenings occur in ontario. parents go crazy when their son is held back by the hockey coach. i've seen a few verbal and physical threats in my day to realize that this is global problem of people who feel downtrodden and want to escape their dismal surroundings, and so it seems this case is as so.

A sad end to what was clearly an impressive man. It says a lot about him if you look at the description of the turnout and all those affected. RIP, and condolences to the family.
