Ah, so its ok if the Taliban are hiding in Pakistan, but not if the Sunnis hide there. Good to know.

They got to blame someone else for their failures. I believe the Iranian people are tired of business as usual. They are in the midst of a revolution.

There we go again... I think that the USA, UK and Pakistan are already very busy fighting the talibans.

The official IRNA news agency quoted Jafari as saying that the group has links with American, British and Pakistani intelligence and operates under their support and orders.

With all the folks who the CIA involve themselves with, it is very plausible. Since former President Bush declared to Iran to be "evil," it is very likely that U.S. intelligence would want to involve itself with any anti-government group within Iran, regardless whether or not they use terrorist tactics.

Have to agree Yabits and why not if Iran supports Hizbollah? He is some right back at you.

Well, if certain forces within the United States want to adopt the methods of those that ordinary Americans have been told are terrorist criminals, it is clear that ordinary, decent Americans now have two sets of criminals to deal with, one of them being domestic.

It might be plausable but still improbable. It might just be that the Iranian minorities are fed up with being persecuted. Maybe Saudi Arabia is backing the Sunnis? Oh well, plenty of blame to go around.

Interestingly all three nations have condemned and denied their involvement.

Who the heck knows? I mentioned this story to my division leader, and he replied, "That's a long way from Japan. We have to concentrate on getting our ship righted first."

Iran say that Israel is involved to and that Jundallah have links with Al-Qaida and the Talibans. At the end of the day is all a "big conspiracy of unlikely allies" against a regime that many iranians acuse of fraud in the presidential elections. Sorry, but I take any fast acusation without time for a serius investigation with a pinch of salt.

    It's called "window dressing."

I doubt we would be so stupid as to back an insurgency in Iran as then we would have to deal with those insurgents if they ever took power. The US has made a ton of mistakes in the middle east, here's hoping we learned something from our support of the Northern Alliance against the Soviets in Afghanistan.

LOL! It is the insurgents who understand that they have to deal with the United States, or else there will always be other insurgents recruited to take them out. As long as the country has resources our corporations covet (as a means of exerting control over the other nations that want those resources), and/or is located in a strategic location for our military, we will always be playing "chess" over there, with the local people as the pawns.

Why is it that Americans semm to know the least about how America works?

SushiSake3: and your intimation is that we never learn from our mistakes? Cheeky, but you need to flesh out your ideas if you want to debate a topic.

    LIBERTAS

I doubt we would be so stupid as to back an insurgency in Iran.

Really? Hasn't stopped you before! A 2007 Sunday Telegraph report revealed that the CIA created Jundullah to achieve 'regime change in Iran', and said the US intelligence agency was trying to destabilize Iran by 'supplying arms-length support' and 'money and weapons' to the group.

Another report posted by ABC also revealed that the US officials had ordered Jundullah to 'stage deadly guerrilla raids inside the Islamic Republic, kidnap Iranian officials and execute them on camera', all as part of a 'programmatic objective to overthrow the Iranian government'.

The Jundullah terror ring, which is led by Abdolmalik Rigi, has claimed responsibility for the attack that targeted a unity gathering between Sunni and Shia tribal leaders in the borderline Pishin region, near the city of Sarbaz. In a recent interview with Press TV, Rigi's brother Abdulhamid also confirmed that the Jundullah leader had established links with the US agents.

His brother said that in just one of his meetings with the US operatives, Rigi had received $100,000 to fuel sectarianism in Iran.

Fool us once, well, we can't get fooled again, eh?

Fool us once, well, we can't get fooled again, eh?

Well that's kind of an ironic way to support a regime who denies the holocaust, says there are no gays in Iran, and operates a clandestine nuclear program. But you're no fool....

    LIBERTAS

    Well SuperLib, you're batting 0 for 3:

Well that's kind of an ironic way to support a regime who denies the holocaust, says there are no gays in Iran, and operates a clandestine nuclear program.

But you're no fool....brush up on your Farsi and see what was really said and done about those. Dare ya!

    Loganinnippon hit it perfectly:

OIL PIPELINE===> Iraq ===> Iran ===> Afghanistan read between the lines (in the sand)

Eastern Mediterranean port of destination for that pipeline, anyone? Haifa! The steel reinforced concrete pipeline was finished as far back as 1943! Pieces fitting together yet? Are we joining the dots on the map yet? It's true what they say, I guess. "War is how you teach Americans geography". (RFK? Not 100% sure.)

  • 0

Wow I have been taught that there is a pipeline from Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Jordan and right into Israel. How intelligent is it of those Jews to steal oil right from under the Arab/Persian world's noses? Very Clever. They couldn't do it without the help of the good ol USA. LIBERTAS is a true geo-political analist. I can't wait to hear more revealing posts from such a high quality insightful person.

    SuperLib

I'm often confused by his posts. He seems to be pointing to things that are obvious to him only. I guess this time he's saying the US will invade Iran in order to get oil to Israel? Sometimes I don't understand why he just doesn't come out and say his conclusions. It's mostly just vague information that ends with a question or catchphrase, like "Battles against drug lords in Mexico? And just what are the Mexicans wearing? Manufacturers in the US make material for clothing, stocks are up. Fool me once?"

SuperLib, I enjoy the conspiracists. They keep me coming back. All in good fun.

    cooperstown

Obama denounced this attack much, much more quickly and in stronger terms than he did the way Iran slaughtered unarmed citizens protesting the recent election fraud there. So what conspiracies can we tease from that fact?
