But, but, but ..... what about that Dec. 31st deadline Obama gave Iran last year? That one came and went and not a peep out of Obama nor his "Ministry of Truth", the MSM.
Yep, the Iranians must be really shaking in their boots.

The "International community" should save their sanctions for nations that are not allowing inspections, are not member of the NPT, and have an active nuclear WEAPONS program.

This article is about Iran, not North Korea.

Need China to hop on board too since they can block any sanctions in the Security Council at the UN. Those supporting it may have to work outside the UN, if China decides to veto the idea. China has an invested interest in keeping Iran at bay since it has the 17th largest Muslim population, numbering about 22 million in and around Tibet and Xinjiang provinces. Iran may be tempted to support those Muslims seeking independence from China in an untoward and deadly way. Tibet and Xinjiang provinces experienced civil unrest in the past year or so and may be emboldened to do more than that with Iran's backing.

"The Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 was amended by the Symington Amendment (Section 669 of the FAA) in 1976. It banned U.S. economic, and military assistance, and export credits to countries that deliver or receive, acquire or transfer nuclear enrichment technology when they do not comply with IAEA regulations and inspections. This provision, as amended, is now contained in Section 101 of the Arms Export Control Act (AECA)."
Considering the Symington Amendment, its very surprising that President Barack Obama would want to impose sanctions on Iran (NPT member, allows UN inspections, no proof of nuclear weapons program) while providing huge amounts of economic and military aid to a nation that has a nuclear weapons program, not a NPT member, does not allow UN inspections, and is accused of war crimes.

Could be that said country's government has not talked about working to make another country 'disappear' as Iran's has done.
