    "bull semen"

    Who buys that?

  • SuperLib at 12:44 PM JST - 9th July

The value of U.S. shipments last year to Canada — America’s top trading partner—was more than 1,000 times the value of shipments to Iran.

Hahahaha.... they damn the country every day with their bombast, but are still willing to turn a blind-eye to make a quick buck.

This is a big reason why the US should not and will not go to war against Iran. The US is already winning where it counts the most in Iran. Given time, the US will gain more fans there and the present government will be replaced by a secular, more human rights based government. An outright attack on Iran would take away this possibility in the near future.

Just to add, I should have written 'more moderate' instead of 'secular'.

Trade boom happening between iranians(GDP almost 1 trillion) and USA(trillions under economic woes).

No better way to make things better, make iranians and americans richer and they will avoid getting poor via conflicts.

  • Triumvere at 05:43 PM JST - 9th July

I had no idea that Iran was a major consumer of American bull semen.

  • USARonin at 05:50 PM JST - 9th July

TUV, is that supposed to be an innuendo obscene joke?

-Just the very idea of Iranians doin' what you suggest is very offensive on every level I can think of.

Even though the president of Iran is deserving of this kind of treatment, this is a public forum and you've more than over-stepped the bounds of civility.

    Yep.

  • Madverts at 07:42 PM JST - 9th July

    bull semen?

    Heh.

So basically if both of the offending governments toned down their brainless rhetoric, there would be decent trade between each other.

  • Sarge at 10:20 PM JST - 9th July

Madverts - Hey, I wish there was free trade between Iran and the U.S. Iranian dates are scrumptious!

  • adaydream at 02:01 AM JST - 10th July

    OhNO!!!!!!

Don't tell me that companies are selling Iran American goods.

Gawd capitalism with Iran is still alive even though george bush says no. Screams for sanctions. Don't tell me it's so.

And some of those are republican states. Oh Gawd NOOOOOOO!!!!

george bush has been trying to get another war, this one in Iran for several years now. And all he's accomplished is increasing trade with them. < :-)

It's almost as if all of your fear-mongering about an impending US invasion of Iran has been totally off base.

  • adaydream at 03:29 AM JST - 10th July

    It is funny.

george bush has been screaming for 7 years that Iran is part of the Axis of Evil and sales of commercial goods goes up every year.

he calls for sanctions and his republican constiuents are making money hands over fist.

No, this administration still wants a war with Iran. This is just a hilarious side story. < :-)

    What?

  • Helter_Skelter at 06:45 AM JST - 11th July

But the U.S. government seems uncoordinated on efforts to limit trade with Iran.

Sounds like it. But unless you can make WMD's out of brassieres, bull semen, and cosmetics, I can't get too worked up about it. You can make WMD's from nuclear power plants and centrifuges and this needs to be dealt with. Brassieres, bull semen, and cosmetics - geez, what's going on over there?
