I hope he listens to the opposition, they got 40% of the vote and demographically are wealthier and better educated.

Why, are you checking up on your Republican pals?

It's leftists that are the ones always defending and supporting Ahmadinejad. One can only infer they must support his association with David Duke as well. What a sad commentary about the left.

Sad would be the defamation of liberals with untruths and disinformation. I have never supported Ahmadinejad. I challenge you to post statements of those on the left that do. When you don't we will just assume you were talking out of your ass again.
It does not take much of a brain to understand that not hating Muslims is not the same as supporting Ahmadinejad. I have been extremely critical of Ahmadinejad. Most conservatives I know get that much. There are those of course who are so out of touch that they can't comprehend others who think on a multitude of levels. Of course it could just be someone so ignorant of any debating skills that they must resort to straw man tactics. David Duke was a Republican and one can infer that it is Republicans that would support his efforts. See I can use dumbass straw man tactics also.
I think the press has it wrong. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei knew he could no longer resist sticking his tongue in Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s mouth if their lips touched one more time. He knew that Ahmadinejad would part his lips one more time as he always had but this time Ayatollah Ali Khamenei must succumb to the wiles of Ahmadinejad. Rather than submit to "the love that dare not speak its name" the Ayatollah "raised his left hand and momentarily stopped Ahmadinejad."
But then again I could be wrong. ha ha !
I still am holding out hope that Rafsanjani will be the one who turns the fundamentalist Iranian elements efforts sour. I am hoping Rafsanjani will lead Iran to the left and govern more moderately.
