Why would people want to go and watch someone being executed?

I do not understand this. There are plenty of countries that can maintain law and order without executions. Also if there are so many executions each year, why do they think that this method is an effective way of maintaining law and order?

Well, if you do crimes, do not do them out there in Iran, where we see that they have no problems with using the death penalty, right??

I'm waiting for our right wingers to come here and complain about the barbarism of Iran. You know they want to. Yet all of them were behind the death of Troy Davis.

They are an ironic bunch.
