What's this "Assad must go" mantra all about? Why depose a leader whose country is (was) the most tolerant, free and advanced in the middle-east? A declassified secret US government document obtained by the public interest law firm, Judicial Watch, tells the story. It shows that Western governments deliberately allied with al-Qaeda and other Islamist extremist groups to topple Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad. who for years has stood in the way of a critical Qatari natural gas pipeline, one which could dethrone Russia as Europe’s dominant source of energy. In a word, it's all about Western greed.

Crazy Joe and Burning Bush, you guys are doing better in informing the public than these trash reports. It could not be more biased and partial: "conservative Sunni-ruled kingdom and the revolutionary Shiite theocracy". Why not refer to Saudi Arabia as the brutal and extremist theocracy? It is trying to avoid depicting Saudia Arabia as the savage country it really is.

Saudi Arabia is a MUCH WORSE ABSOLUTE MONARCHY AND THEOCRACY than the Islamic Republic of Iran. Iran is actually quite a tolerant country compared to Saudi Arabia or the other Gulf States. I say this as a person who despises sectarian societies across the board.
