Nice job, Obama.

Iran has been threatening Israel's existence for a while now and that includesactively financially supporting, training and arming Hamas and Hezbollah, two groups that have sworn to destroy Israel.
Nothing wild or hysterical about being worried about Iran getting its hands on nuclear weapons. Nothing wild or hysterical about being very concerned with their supporting groups that want to destroy another sovereign nation.

Why is China in there? What have they offered in the negotiations? As long as they get the oil, they don't care what happens.
Stu Katz
That is China's big concern. This whole crisis is not about nuclear weapons, that is just an excuse; its about getting control of oil. Same as in Libya, which was not for humanitarian reasons. China does not want the west to control all of the oil. Remember that China had huge oil contracts with Iraq before the west went in.

So, you seem to be claiming that China wanted a war in Iran and wants a war in Iran to get oil?
The fact is that Iran has in the past be in violation of the IAEA. This is a concern. The fact also is that Iran has been offered the opportunity, the tech and the support to make nuclear power with the provision that it be monitored. They refused. This is also a concern.
Sadly, there are many that just seem to want Iran to have nuclear weapons so that Iran can further push its positions on Israel. I think it is a really bad reason for wanting to create more nuclear danger and tensions in the world. Especially now.
