Ahmadinejad on Sunday made no mention of what he said last week.

Borrowing a page from KJI's book?

    LIBERTAS

Parellel to this Joe Lieberman and John Kerry are leading the beat of war-drums in DC, and counselling against diplomacy with Iran(?) as Israel sends missile boats through the Suez to the Gulf, in preparation for war.

All ignoring the fact that Iran is acting within its legal rights to develop nuclear power. (Nobody's proven that it's a 98% enrichment weapons program, so spare me the pre-emptive strike hogwash. Hollering at Iran to prove a negative makes the blood-lust for war in DC and Tel Aviv all the more obvious.)

Given part-Chinese and part-Russian ownership of these sites in Iran, how will DC & Tel Aviv deal with war against these two superpowers, I wonder? As we've seen in the Liberation of Iraq, next-day scenarios are not the strong point at the Pentagon, now, are they? If oil hits exorbitant prices when the Straits of Hormuz is blocked by conflict, the US can kiss the green shoots of economic recovery goodbye. Robert Gates WAS the cool head in this foray up until now. I hope his Masters keep it that way, or heaven help us all.

    Differently.

We will simply blast Iran with conventional bombs, smashing their infrastructure, nuke plants, and Imperial Guard, to smithereens.

    Power to the people!

Obama, will be given an unprecedented, second, Nobel Peace Prize. Iranian people will dance joyously in the streets, reveling, in their freedom.

MAD, mutually Assured Destruction, is the name of the game with the big boys, we dont have wars with them. Iran's Supreme leaders are not Chinese or Russian.

Yeah, but doesn't the USA have all that oil it stole from Iraq, just laying around somewhere, Shurlock?

The fact that Iran is sandwiched between Afghanistan and Iraq (Giant American military bases) , makes the bombing of those nuke plants, easy as pie.

Hey, the Iranians are just producing energy for peaceful purposes, what's the problem?

    Go Mahmooooood!!

Heh, why doesn't he just say they're going to build a million enrichment plants? It's as equally credible as the ten he's clearly joking about building.

I know there'll be mega civilian casualties in the event of a surgical strike, but it would be folly for this nut-bag or any of the nut-bags that make up this illegitimate regime to have his finger on the nuclear button.

The more posturing this guy does the more likely it is that somebody will take him seriously and decide to do something to stop him.
