They need another revolution. One that will put democracy on their doorstep and not a totalitarian Islamic government.

Heh, the Iranian government is accusing the protesters "unpatriotic." When even the theo-litarian Iranian government is brandishing the word, you know the word is abusedly damaged and lost its meaning.

Oooooh, I accuse you of causing violence in my country, I shall slap you as payback! There, you big, bad mother of all wickedness Britain. That'll learn ya.
I'm not even sure that line is bought by the security forces --maybe the basij-- not when they see the hundreds of thousands of protesters/demonstrators.

Hey maybe the world's Police force can get this Revolution going. I mean the least we could do is start it and let them do the rest like the present Iraq is doing. After all democracy doesn't come without a fight and a little blood.

"I mean the least we could do is start it and let them do the rest like the present Iraq is doing."
Which other democracy was born out of daily suicide bombings bushlover?
Do humanity a favour and let the Iranians do what the Iraqi's should have done on their own!

Oh my. That the state security forces have had to intensify their crackdown is not a good sign. The trouble with democracy breaking out in Iran is that it will destabilize the region. I do believe this scenario was clearly explained before the disastrous invasion of Iraq. In Iran's case it means the terrible likelihood that Hamas and Hezbollah will no longer be able to exert the political influence that they wield in Lebanon and Palestine. Financial support from Iran's current government for political campaigns by these two groups and for their many, many other activities in the region is in jeopardy!

LOL! Don´t hold your breath waiting for that. The mullahs will never give up power. After all, they act on behalf of god.

Yes WilliB I agree wholeheartedly. That is why I say let's start it for them. The dreamers like Madverts may want to wait a lifetime to get it started but I am all for "revolution". That sounds better than "regime change" doesn't it? That's a word that could especially get the most liberal of liberals behind it after all.
