I agree. Let the Iraqi people take control of the cities. Then bring some troops home. < :-)

You mean the insurgents that are enlisted in the army....for the minute?

The US could take this as a semi face-saving retreat, before the chaos ultimately begins. Obviously I don't want this to happen, but I can't honestly see it happening any other way....

Telepromter, I am so glad that you have finally come to your senses. Yes, we all have been saying, we liberals, that the troops should be brought home. Now its finally going to happen after bush is retired. I share your joy in this great change.

Senses? The damage is done. The profits made. Even the extra-curricular goal of the Iraqis governing themselves is basically done. This is not a matter of coming to one's senses. This is a matter of stepping into the get-away car now that the bank vault is empty.

Nice going telepromter, but why dont you elaborate on why and how the troops should be brought home. Do you think the invasion by bush was a mistake now? Or do you think the US has just lost in Iraq and should pull out.
