Folks, the US Government isn't even being clever here.
Iran denies grabbing an oil well.
Irag denies that Iran grabbed an oil well.
Iran is way too smart to risk war over a single oil well when Iran already has more oil than it can refine.
This is Iraq's "Yellow cake" all over again.
It looks like the US is planning to start the invasion of Iran from inside Iraq, a new Iran/Iraq war, built on a fiction of a stolen oil well.
I wonder what will the pro-war jingo be,
"Remember the oil derrick!"
"Better tan than Iran."
"Oil profits or death!"
On a more serious note, a US invasion of Iran will kick off WW3. We will all find ourselves in the crossfire of a war with Russia and China, and they really DO have nuclear weapons and the delivery systems to use them.

I always get a kick of out listening to people telling us that the US is going to invade another country while at the same time telling us that the US cannot invade another country. In the end it comes down to people wanting to believe something as their basis for saying it.
