Thankfully Iranian commandos and Iranian trained Iraqi soldiers are leading the fight to free Fallujah of the Saudi backed Sunni terrorists occupying the city, as that gives the operation a much better chance of success.

There are a few hundred US boots on the ground aren't there? Are they only training the iraqis and conducting their stealthy raids on top ISIS leadership every now and then?
What do the iranian commandos got that US special forces don't got? I guess being a "shiite" muslim is a prized motivating factor for one-

Heard that ISIS has dug in real well, with tunnels and sniper points. Urban warfare is never good, but this could get particularly nasty. Fallujah was never a nice place to live to begin with, but those poor civilians! - reminds me of some cities in Korea that were overrun multiple times during the Korean War.

House-to-house fighting yields lots of casualties for those on the offensive. What they should do is Bomb Fallujah to kingdom come-

Hmmm, I wouldn't say bomb the entire place, but I would do a house search to search, mind you that is a very risky and nasty thing, the locals know the territory and they many will hide among the civilians, but if you seriously want to take the city back, you have to do it

A very nasty thing bass4funk. MOUT / UO training is pretty crazy under "controlled" conditions. Very risky indeed in reality. I don't know . . . .hope the iraqis are up to the task. ISIS is.
