If "Jihadi John" is Mohammed Emwazi, then I look forward to seeing his capture and death in the same manner as those he inflicted on others.

As Speed said.

Now they can check out his childhood history. I bet he was a very abused young kid, and a severe bully at school. Look at the family for answers for this guys cruelty.

-17 ( +2 / -19 )

Not at all. He was detained and prevented from going to Kuwait in 2010, where he was planning to marry and start a new job, he was already suspicious enough to be detained then, but not being able to go through with the marriage was what radicalized him, according to several news sources.

You're making excuses for him?

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Typical jihadist profile: wealthy family, educated, well-spoken, friendly. Only little problem that he went to Salafi mosques. But still Obama et al and media will keep telling us that islamic radicalism is a problem of...... poverty.

-1 ( +11 / -12 )

Your all wrong, it was employment he needed. He couldn't find a job in the UK. Had to be. My country's leader said this is the likely cause.

-10 ( +4 / -14 )

"...but not being able to go through with the marriage was what radicalized him..."

And that's why he may have murdered at least five people?

"But still Obama et al and media will keep telling us that islamic radicalism is a problem of...... poverty."

"He couldn't find a job in the UK. Had to be. My country's leader said this is the likely cause."

This is the line that the US right-wing hate media is pushing. But he never said that poverty was the only cause of radical Islam. A typical distortion of his comments and position.

The special forces now have a name, a face and an identity that allows them to eventually find their target. Happy Days. The time for this regional psychosis to end was before it even started, the Arab Nation needs to step up and put boots on the ground. NOW.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Well done Mohammed. I bet your Mum is SO proud of you.

Kids, the correct response to "harassment" by the authorities is NOT to go and prove them correct by joining a bunch of psychopathic, child-raping murderers. Just in case you hadn't worked theat out for yourself...

9 ( +9 / -0 )

Jihadi John has a rap video on YouTube in which he confesses to having the urge to kill but wanting to move past it. I think he is just a killer who joined for the thrill of killing and doesn't give a shit about Islam.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

And that's why he may have murdered at least five people?

That's what the media are saying was the last straw, which finalized his decision to join.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

"The special forces now have a name, a face and an identity that allows them to eventually find their target."

YongYang: I think governments already have a good idea who many of these homegrown ISIS fighters are. And many will not dare return to face what they deserve because they are cowards without their comrades surrounding them.

Yes, and if anyone believes after graduation he decided to go on safari in Tanzania with his buddies from Westminster University Jihadi Society (or whatever) just to see some lions or something, then I've got a bridge you might like to buy.

Protect Japan☺️

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

I am surprised that they have not posted a bounty on his head yet. Cannot wait until they capture him and bring him to Hotel Guantanamo for breakfast in bed. Justice will be served swiftly. Just wait until we get our hands on you murderer.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

All of us have our days numbered but his total just dropped dramatically. He'll be in a leading story, not unlike Bin Laden's last leading turn, soon enough.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Right wing hate media! Someone is in denial.

http://www.westernjournalism.com/watch-msnbcs-matthews-just-destroyed-state-dept-flak-says-terrorists-simply-need-jobs/#51wR3O0yOwHk9Vsb.97

Some drones don't see the green grass under their feet it seems.

BTW the left spews hate. The right constantly defends. Open your eyes and see the light!

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

Plenty more where he came from.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Yelnats - you are describing the classic profile of a serial killer. Extremist nutters like this individual aren't moulded like that.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

It's like a Rodney Dangerfield routine, "A seemingly normal guy in a small town picks up an ax and kills everybody in his family and people ask 'What kind of a man was he?' Oh, he was a quiet man."

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Davestrousers is right. This guy has a long line of willing replacements and they even groom them young. An evil cancer needing to be squashed and the sooner the better! They are growing and spreading yet the world leaders can't seem to come together and devise an extermination plan for the verman. Wait another year and it will be worse than today.

"Right wing hate media! Someone is in denial."

"Open your eyes and see the light!"

First off, this woman says "we need to go after the root causes that leads people to join these groups, whether it's lack of opportunity for jobs, whether..." and at that point Chris Matthews interrupts her. She clearly was going to list further reasons.

Second, find me a quote by Pres. Obama that states poverty and/or lack of jobs are the only causes of radical Islam.

Watching this clip confirms that many on the right blindly follow conservative websites which don't deserve to have the word "journalism" attached to their name.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

Jihadi John has a rap video on YouTube in which he confesses to having the urge to kill but wanting to move past it. I think he is just a killer who joined for the thrill of killing and doesn't give a shit about Islam.

According to new reports, the rapper is not Jihadi John but some other terrorist scum.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Amazing that they've identified him. Now, GET HIM.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

PaulinUSA....Chris Matthews is as far left as you can get! I intentionally selected the MSNBC clip just for you.

For your other request....Obama does not title them as radical Islam.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

It was the media who named him "Jihadi John". always thought it was a stupid tag for a murderer. Anyhoo, now they know he is just another normal bloke who took a wrong turn somewhere.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

May karma visit upon him sooner rather than later.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

It doesn't take much to radicalize Muslim youth these days. Their leaders have drilled the victimhood mentality for so long that it is an essential part of the belief system.

Unless their extremist leaders, who live of state benefits but still accuse the state of acting against them, are punished and measures taken to prevent others from coming in, we will see more and more of such clueless, brainwashed animals coming out of their holes.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Great, we know his name. Can somebody please kill this a-hole now?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

"... The illiterate fool that wrote it."

Mmm....

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Mohammed was an illiterate and that is well known, even by I slamic scholars. His 'revelations' were recored by scribes.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Launch 100 tomahawk missiles against IS and let them keep the change.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

This is one of those exceptional a cases when torturing an individual is acceptable.

No matter what the cost, this POS needs to be taken alive.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Well, Jihadi John or what ever this idiot fool's name may be, do hope he is captured alive, but I doubt it, he most likely wants to go down in a barrage of fire, bullets, explosions, kind of like Al Pacino in Scar Face. I may be wrong, but I really doubt this guy will want to go away quietly. I do hope and pray, IS etc..get their butts kicked inside out!

IS executioner 'Jihadi John' named by media

And CAGE spokesman called Jihadi John 'beautiful, kind and gentle man'........And had the gall the place the blame for ISIS's crimes against Humanity on the West.........

For those that don't know who the supposed human rights group CAGE loves to defend ISIS and has been caught on camera calling for Jihad against the West.....

The problem isn't with the West, the problem is with Islam. Islamic leaders need to work with law enforcement to eradicate the problem.

But, as long as politicians continue to minimize the problem the deeper the problem will get and the more resentment Islam will face in the West.

Want to end Islamic terrorism? Easy, stop denying that the problem doesn't exist!

This beast extremist radicalisation was perpetrated by muslim clerics and imams on our own doornstep in East London Muslim schools and Mosques.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

This beast extremist radicalisation was perpetrated by muslim clerics and imams on our own doornstep in East London Muslim schools and Mosques.

Indeed. They are actively looking for the rejects, the losers. Those shunned or that feel shunned by normal society.

Great Britain needs to shake off the demented politically correct kumbayness that has allowed radical clerics to round up and shepherd the vengeful losers like this POS.

All known radical Muslim clerics need rounding up and interning without trial. Immediately. Starting with Anjem Choudary.

Since my fellow Europeans are weak they need handing to our American cousins who have the balls to adequately deal with them. Once cell, One orange jumpsuit. One feeding tube. Keep them alive against their will,

Tell that to the Japanese family with a son missing a head,

@Madverts

Read the original quotation... don't blame me.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Luca,

Islamic fundamentalists are on everyone's doorstep.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

@Madverts

Sure the terrorists are everywhere. I was just disputing the notion that "here" is London. Or America. Or Australia.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Who'll get to him first? Whoever captures him, Britain or America will have the pleasure of putting this piece of filth on trial... Go get him SAS!

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Hi Lucabrasi you answered the question, the doorstep to the temple of wisdom is a knowledge of our own ignorance is how Bejamin Franklin put it, however the British political establishment still refuses to acknowledge the fact. How many more 'Jihadi Johns' fester within 'our' communities and why does it take JT to inform 'us' before government?

1 ( +1 / -0 )

i wonder who will catch him first,US or UK? either way, hope they get him real soon but i doubt he will be taken alive.there will be more like him willing to take his place though when he is captured.

MarkGFEB. 27, 2015 - 11:06AM JST Davestrousers is right. This guy has a long line of willing replacements and they even groom them young. An evil cancer needing to be squashed and the sooner the better! They are growing and spreading yet the world leaders can't seem to come together and devise an extermination plan for the verman. Wait another year and it will be worse than today.

True. But you don't address why we have this issue to begin with. Do you want an end to the problem of radical Islam in the West? Then the West must extricate itself from the Islamic world and the U.S. in particular needs to stop supporting Israel as we have so wrong-headedly for the last forty years or so.

ISIL is probably worse than the Taliban. But if the citizens of Afghanistan can't come together to defeat them, no amount of Western intervention will fix the problem. The same is true of what's going on in Syria, Libya and Iraq. The U.S. bears most of the responsibility for creating an environment in which ISIL can thrive (though Turkey is responsible too - you can kiss the EU membership goodbye Ankara). Destroying Iraq, a made-up country with no organic whatsoever, and Syria's civil war created the perfect vacuum for such a group, whose leaders have been around for nearly a decade, to solidify it's organization.

I am all for the U.S. backed effort to push ISIL out of Mosul and, if possible, out of northern Iraq all together. But I do not want the U.S. further mired in what will probably be a decades long era of conflict. If we're going to lay it all on the line for a part of the world that matters, I'd rather see "boots on the ground" in Ukraine finally finishing off Russia and Putin rather than spilling any more American blood and wasting hundreds of millions of dollars in a part of the world in which we have no cultural or political stake. But I digress.

The only positive outcome I could think of ISIL continuing to run amok in the region is them attacking Saudi and the rest of the illegitimate "kingdoms" in the Gulf. Our dealings with those hideous regimes have never been anything but a devil's bargain.

Alas, this bizarre upside-down world-view is shared by many Westerners. You have even seen it in this readers forum. The argument that we are creating islamic terrorism by criticising political islam. If we were just to shut up and look the other way, islamic terrorism would cease to exist. It is insane, but this outlandish idea has many advocates. (Who, of course, never did their homework about the issue.)
