This is as predicted the result of electing Obama.

Israel knows it has no more US support.

This may cause more attacks and an attack on Iran whcih may cause WWIII.

Obama, and his supporters , you caused this.

I do agree that this was an act done because Barack was elected, but not for your reason OnTheRecord. I think it's to see how far they can push Barack from day one. Will he side with Isreal or Palestine?

I don't think they will let either one of us know why though.

Don't blame this on Barack. This was an action by Isreal. No one else. < :-)

That's strange; when we point out that the fiasco in Iraq is Bush's doing, certain parties like to remind us that it's the ones setting off bombs and killing people who are to blame, not the ones who provided the opportunity/motivation.

So it had nothing to do with the fact that Hamas militants fired mortars into Israel. It seems more like Hamas attacked Israel because Barack was elected. They feel emboldened knowing they will soon have an ally in the White House.

BTW Why isn't the title of this article "Hamas fires mortars into southern Israel" Oh yeah, it's the MSM.

aday: Most of the people in the Mid East would prefer that Israel is gone, and have thought that for years. Why do you think they should stop because of an election in the US?

This is the kind of thing that may create the reason to stop sending billions a year in support of Isreal. The better option may be to return the land to the Palestinian and send most of the land grabbers back to the suburbs of those Europeans cities. Alternatively, I am sure that they all each have a relative living in Brooklyn that would be glad to offer up a room in the basement.

Well they could have started the coverage last week with "Militants fire rockets into Israel." Or they could have started with "Militants digging tunnels to capture Israelis." Or even "Hamas fires mortars into southern Israel."

But nope. They decide to begin coverage with "Israel launches airstrike on Gaza."

SuperLib, I gave george bush the respect that he earned.

Barack Obama hasn't put together a pack of lies yet to steal a country's resourses and failed miserably at it's effort.

I'll give Barack the respect he's earned. So far he's won and deserves that respect. We'll see how he runs his regime. < :-)

As for Isreal, they did what they wanted to do. After an embargo in an effort to starve the Gazan's to death and a continued effort to reap hatred against the Palistinians.

We'll see how it's dealt with under new leadership in the United States and Isreal, as soon as a new leader is selected. < :-)

Are you kidding? The "Palestininans" are loved by the world. They've been neatly packaged into victims by the socialist media and oil-rich Arab Muslims. Perpetuating the victim myth is vital in their quest to destroy Israel. And it works as evidenced by the posts of first-world leftists.
