I think everyone in the world is skeptical about Israel's and Palestine's foreign policy capabilities.

Marwan Alian, 22, law student: "I am attracted by Obama's charisma"
As are so many others. It's what's gotten him this far.
I'm not surprised the Israelis and the Palestinians are skeptical of the Messiah's foreign policy capabilities.

staunch Israel backer" Why should the US join all the countries from the Atlantic all the way eastward to the Pacific in their brand of hate? What is the score several countries in support of Israel against what a 100 Islamic lead countries?
Countries as far away from the Middle East such as Indonesia will criticize the US for interfering in Middle East Affairs, when they do the same.
Does Israel have a legitimate concern based on a name, such as Obama's? Well, if you asked Obama does he have a concern about someone's name being Duke, I am sure he would say yes.

"Barack Obama ...is going to find plenty of skeptics wondering whether such a foreign policy neophyte has what it takes to finally nail down a solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict."
Well, considering the bottom of the barrel standards set by the current president, anything Obama does will be a plus.

why is this conflict so dependent on a US president? The Palestinians have and always have had the entire Muslim and left wing world on their side, even before the US started giving support to the state.

why is this conflict so dependent on a US president?
Because AIPAc and Israel controls Congress and the political spectrum in USA. And because US is the only country supporting Israeli occupation and oppression.

so, let me get this straight, Obama is being asked to help a situation that should never have occurred because Jew should never have been there in the first place? That the whole idea of it once being their homeland too is just a myth? So anything that Obama says or does is irrelevant because the whole thing is one big lie and that is why all Muslims, not Arabs, but Muslims, around the world, from the Atlantic to the South Pacific, want to see Israel cease from existing?

Isn't JT's track record for attracting people like this amazing? Click on his name....just like all the others. One day of posting, all theories involving the "Zioinst State." Seems like the site is getting to be pretty famous on the Palestinian supporter circuit.

Besides, apprently another palestinian nutter has pulled off what seems to be a copy-cat attack with a digger near Senataor Obama's Jerusalem hotel. I'm looing forward to hear the whining reasons why this poor man just had to lash out like that.

Don't promise Isreal any more money.
I'm encouraged about the cease fire.
I've been hearing Barack telling how supportive he is of Isreal, I would like to hear that he's supportive of Palistine, also.
But I'm glad he's meeting the leaders there. < :-)

That pretty much describes Obama's position, not only on Jerusalem, but on every other issue.
Like so many other lemmings.

I guess when John McCain voted against off-shore drilling and now he's blaming Barack Obama for higher gas prices isn't straddling the fence, or is that flip-flopping to get across it?
Barack has already stood up on several occasions and said that he's behind Isreal, no matter what. He's been very fluent about his support. I'm not as supportive of Isreal, but I don't agree with everything he wants. < :-)
