    Proffesor

Michael Jackson was so wacko that I'm not surprised he was addicted to so many drugs. Michael Jackson brought this on himself. I have zero pity for him. He continually felt like he was above the law, in both life and the way that he died. It's ridiculous how he lived his life.

Michael Jackson had problems, but the doctor should be to blame in this death. Any reputable doctor would have refused to give propofol as a sleep aid. This drug is not to be used outside of a hospital, and with an EKG machine to monitor the patient's heart rate. Since there was no EKG machine in Jackson's home, and the doctor is thought to have fallen asleep while Jackson was under the influence of this drug, it is definitely malpractice, if not manslaughter.

Our society creates this kind of stress on a man/woman. In this case, a child who never had a normal life. His father was violent and abusive. As a teacher I can be a witness that children raised in abusive homes grow up with emotional problems. Michael's life has been put on a spotlight and microscope. He didn't ask for it. Do you think he could have refused the other brothers to sing on stage when he was a child? It was compulsory in that family. When the 80s came Micheal was able to escape out of his cage. He got into a pepsi commercial accident and got addicted to painkillers. The rest is history.

"Any reputable doctor would have refused to give propofol as a sleep aid."

Well, it would seem many different doctors gave Jackson the drug. Are we going to have a witch-hunt on all the money-grubbing doctors in stars lives, or is Murray going to pay for the other swine too?

I think that getting the leech doctors out of Hollywood would be a good first step. Jackson's "doctor" is pretty close to a involuntary manslaughter. Given the profile of the case I'm willing to bet the prosecutor is gunning for him.

His personal doc needs to be charged with manslaughter and have his license revoked. Michael Jackson had a drug problem and this doctor feel good merely chose to facilitate it for the $120,000 a month he was getting. Even overlooking the fact that it's crazy to put someone under as a remedy for insomnia the guy is still guilty of malpractice in that he didn't monitor his patient or overdosed him. Sad all the way around, I was really pulling for Jackson to blow everyone away in London and reclaim his place in music history.

One read: “children are sweet and innocent.”

I'm sure it's why pedophiles like them so much.
