You know when you put off till later a problem, it always gets much worse before it get better. We had the Taliban on the run then, now they stand and fight against our military with no fear.
We all know why the true war against terror in Afghanistan was put on hold, the Taliban had 6 years to dig in, and now the US has to finish the original war. < :-)

I use US in general terms. There is a coalition of forces fighting and their service to their country and world are highly recognized by me.
Still we went to war, pulled out most forces and now we're going back into Afghanistan to finish what was started over 6 years ago. < :-)
