I respect honest cops on the beat more than I do any other profession. Everytime they walk up to a parked car, they don't know what's going to happen. One of my cousins is a police officer and his wife never knows whether he will come home safely each night. Tough profession.

" In March 2011, he was charged with criminal use of weapons and was sentenced that September to 12 months of unsupervised probation, also after pleading no contest."
The system hard at work. Here was a person obviously living outside of the law, yet with unsupervised probation. No laws would have prevented this outlaw from heeding any gun law, nor any other, but being locked up would have. Or a rope.

Cops have the roughest job. Even when you do your job correctly, the courts set them free.
The job is rough even when the courts AREN'T involved. My uncle was a New Mexico State Trooper. One night on patrol he came upon a mangled car off the side of the road. It was my aunt's car and her body was still inside.
