Did you expect anything less from this maniac? He knows he will spend the rest of his life in jail, so why bother to cooperate? The longer the trial lasts, the less bored he will be. Plus, it gives him time in the spotlight to impress the few friends he still has.
I don't know which trial you are commenting on. Ohh - this is all your little joke, of course.
Karadzic can try to make sarcastic jokes too, but it won't prevent this thug from spending the rest of his life behind bars.
Karadzic may be a thug, but he is correct. This "international court" is a joke.
NATO illegaly attacked Serbia on behalf of a terrorist group, and violated its the conditions for surrender that the Nato countries signed themselves.
On trial should be Bill Clinton and the leaders of the Nato countries who participated in this atrocity.
The crimes that Karadzic committed are minor in comparison.

He was pretty effective with his mocking. As I understand it the Belgian judge was actually in tears and begging him to quit.
A few specific examples of his mocking:
"You're the court of Nachos. I should cover you with cheese."
"Actually, you're the court of Natto... you know, the stinky, fermented soy beans eaten in Japan. Yeah, that's what you are! You stink!"
He was quite brutal.
