What's the definition of an increasingly sticky mess?

Pull NATO out and you'll have massive added population/refugee movements as the least of your worries. (Who would want to live there if it is not politically stable?)

In one chilling episode Saturday, insurgents gave an 8-year-old Afghan girl a bomb concealed in a handbag and detonated it as she approached Afghan policemen in southern Afghanistan, killing her, Afghan authorities said.

Just sad.

It's just difficult to believe that someone would actually think of this, actually find an 8-year old girl, watch her walk with the bag, then intentionally blow her up. It's not something that happens in an instant, it something that takes time to carry out. Plenty of time to back out, but this guy apparently didn't have any second thoughts. Amazing.

Superlib I don't know if you've heard of the report of the 13 year old Afgan girl who ran away from home because her father told her,"Be happy, for today you will become a martyr and see heaven..." with the intent to make her into a suicide bomber. But obviously men that think like this have absolute cult mentality.

HonestDictator....no, haven't heard of that, but you should check out stories on Hamas using disfigured women by telling them they are too hideous for a man to every marry them so they should be a suicide bomber. Or an injured woman going to Israel to get free medical treatment getting stopped at the border when she decided she couldn't go through with the plan to kill the doctors who were going to treat her. You also have bombs strapped to donkeys, attempts to blow up fuel depots in Israel that service Palestine, and using mentally handicapped teenagers. Obviously not Pakistan, but it goes to show you the type of mentality we're dealing with in regards to "resistance fighters" who apparently have cause to do the things they do in the eyes of some.

When people ask me, "What would you do if someone did X to you" I'm pretty sure none of those things would be on my list. Especially putting a bomb on a little girl to kill a police officer.

Yeah an 8 year old has hardly lived long enough to be able to figure out what was happening was very bad. The 13 year old I mentioned was lucky and had enough self confidence and mental maturity to see that her daddy was quite twisted in the head and in the spirit of self-preservation took off when she had the chance. Islam is quite the bag of tricks, and the overly-pacified PC groupies can barely comprehend what the goal behind this "religion" really is.
