That was an edited version. The actual statement read:
"You know, I informed, you know, Governor, you know, Paterson today, you know, that for personal, you know, reasons, you know, I, you, am, know, withdrawing, you know, my, know, you, name from, you know, consideration for, you know, the United, you, States, know, Senate ... you know. Just so, you know."

Let's just hope we can get another Kennedy in there to continue the dynasty. Hopefully they are also grooming Chelsea Clinton for the future. Wouldn't it be awesome to have the entire Clinton family as Presidents or Senators (or former)?
Thank goodness we now have Madam Secretary Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State due to her confirmation. The world looks brighter every day.

whoever gets the job, they'll never be anything more than a "rubberstamp". I wonder if she is interested in Uncle Ted's seat, he's not going to be around much longer.

What's awesome about installing dynasties of politicians? That does not seem coherent with the concept of democracy (demos = the people) as oposed to oligarchy.
For an example, Japanese politicians. They inherit the nominations and even the support of the bases not on their own merit, but on BIRTHRIGHT as if we were in feudal times. What is so awesome about it? Competent leaders not posterboys is what a nation needs; but some views about birthright and blood's magical properties are so deeply ingrained in the public psyche it takes no less than a great social shock to make people reconsider - and that seems to be looming in the horizon.
Blood does not guarantee competence or talent. It's the person's own achievements and charisma that show if that person is qualified to be a leader. All this mockery of her ums and hms is ridiculous. Do people really believe blood makes some people superior to others in the 21st century? Because otherwise they wouldn't mock in disappointment.

"you Know" he is just going to have and pick a person by merit instead of name. Her only qualification was her family name. She has never held public office or been a part of the government. Still wonder what the real reason for the withdraw?

Now Caroline Kennedy hasn't paid her taxes. What is it with Democrats not paying their taxes.

Al Sharpton would be better than C.K. at least he would do something. She would have spent all her time at the nail manicurist and hairstylist when she was not writing poetry books. If she is so politically motivated, why doesn't she move back to Mass. and take over uncle Ted "Chappaquiddick" Kennedy's seat which will be vacant pretty soon...

Perhaps New York can finally have a native New Yorker represent them instead of carpet baggers.

Didn't you get the memo? According to Democrats (you know, the folks who love taxes), only the little people pay taxes.

Dems are equally stingy with the charitable donations as well. Biden for example donated less than 1% over the last ten years. They talk a good game of human compassion but in the end, they want everyone else to pay for it. I bet them hollywood folks are working closely with the democrats on their own little tax shelters. still no confirmation on carolines possible tax problem so can't say much on it
