Love how the Dems are now doing everything they can to pack their meetings. Doing everything they can to avoid facing the people. The majority of whom are strongly opposed to this health care fiasco. Sad and pathetic, but funny as well.

"the expansion of health care to uninsured Americans"
That's going to be difficult, what with keeping over a hundred thousand troops in Iraq for another 2 years, adding MORE troops to Afghanistan and keeping them there for who knows how long, continuing to give billions in foreign aid, continuing other wasteful domestic programs...

Hey, Kerry, maybe we can start by getting affordable healthcare in Mass given now it's got the highest premiums in the country!

The Massachusetts citizens already passed some sort of a state universal healthcare, no?

Kerry had his chance. He had more than enough money to go after the Swiftboat gang and sue them for libel but he did NOTHING. Why? He and his wife have a fortune close to a billion. No, It is probably Senator Robert Byrd who will shoulder the mantle the last Kennedy so nobly shouldered to fight for oppressed minorities, and for social justice.

Senator Byrd? Good choice to shoulder the mantel. A former Grand Wizard of the KKK, he's been in the Senate for 50 years. At 92, he's virtually on his death bed but has been wheeled into the Senate chamber once this year to vote to give away a $785 billion stimulus.

It seems some Americans are now denying that the President has a mandate to implement the Universal Health-Care Plan, even though he romped home in the election. Working-class slobs don't deserve health care anyway - neither do their children. Those infants should go out and get a job so they can afford their operations!
Obama out! Obama out!

Kerry's an opportunist, simply doing what he's best at.

"Another example of an American reprobate spitting on the service of a Vietnam veteran."
Kerry is an example of a liberal who spat on the service of Vietnam Veterans.

Kerry, a decorated Vet himself, never condemned any Vet, and did a lot more than any chickenhawk to help veterans.
Kerry did tell the truth about the war in Vietnam and, true to form, the haters of truth spit on him.

I like and respect Kerry. I even voted for him. I wish him luck. We need more people like him in the government.

I respect the man, but didn't vote for him. Wouldn't vote for him.

The 04 convention:"Reporting for duty" was classic.Kerry sure showed bush! I just wish he and the leading Democrats had gone after the Swiftboat ppl. I still puzzle over it.Kerry had access to the best lawyers in America and tens of millions of dollars. Was he afraid of losing the case?

It was a case of they said versus he said. As in these people were the ones who he served with in Vietnam. When the majority of them came out against him, saying these things about his service, all he can do is say, no it isn't true. They say it is, he says it isn't. Legally, he doesn't have a leg to stand on.

Why should Sen. Kerry be ashamed about throwing away the medals he won in Vietnam? I thought the photo of him in his controversial book "The New Soldier" (1971) being comforted by his wife, taken just after he had thrown his war medals over a fence at a protest in Washington DC, was very moving.

A liberal who served in Vietnam himself and was decorated for it, and had his own service spat on by Bush and Cheney's attack dogs in 2004. Still, even if they'd had the decency not to make Kerry's record an issue, I suspect he'd have probably lost anyway.
