“Well, obviously they’re very anxious,” the Tennessee Republican said of Obama administration officials. “I mean, I think they look at this as a legacy issue.”

This is where the Republican parrots get their talking points. People here have said it numerous times, and I guarantee that this point of view was crafted by GOP strategists in a meeting room then handed out for circulation.

What they don't get is that it's an utter meaningless position built on imagination, and obviously it can be said for any deal in any situation for any person. But to conservatives it's a valid talking point inside the bubble where no one challenges them, and then it gets reinforced. It's convenience lies in the fact that they can criticize Obama's thoughts and they don't have to actually talk about the details of the agreement. It keeps their base perfectly dumb by replacing constructive conversation with emotional catchphrases.

Hows this for a "catch-phrase"- Trust but Verify! Iran has repeatedly said NO to inspections by the U.N. and want a one sided deal whereby sanctions are lifted & they still get what they want & it's gonna be really bad for the west when they produce nukes !
