should be "Kurdish forces assisted by USAF....." Fact is that the fanatics will always win against these other less motivated "armies".

Actually, most of the strike aircraft are from carriers...............so it would be USN, not USAF.

The Arab press is reporting that the IS leader has fled Mosul to go and hide in Syria, even before his troops abandoned the dam. They seem to be tougher when faced by defenceless civilians.
