No surprise to ME.

The Kurds will liberate their territory, and more power to them.
However, ISIS is firmly ensconced in the sunni areas of Iraq and Syria, and the continuing nonsensical US policy of supporting Syrian rebels (aka ISIS in disguise), the ISIS caliphate will be with us for a long time, imposing their brutal mediaval Shariah law on the region.
