Good news. And some better news:

(#* NU$)(U#$ and the plane he flew in on.

"In a rambling diatribe, Fry at one point had said he wanted a pizza, then marijuana, before denouncing abortion and American foreign policy."

They're armed. They're stupid. And they are wrong.

Stupid like a fox!

:)

See ya terrorists.

Or rather, we won't see them, but that's a good thing.

This is sad news only for their tiny fan club on JT. わかやま まま and anyone else I forgot, hope you won't try to emulate these losers by randomly storming government property.

At least one of the last holdouts, David Fry, is clearly dealing with mental illness, as his previous Pray for ISIS campaign showed. Screaming for marijuana as the feds closed in was a surreal thing to hear on the national news. Now what was the tab for this occupation and where do we send the bill?

"Dwight Hammond and his son Steven, who were convicted of arson. . . . The Hammonds distanced themselves from the movement and voluntarily began their scheduled prison sentences after the occupation began."

"The siege in Oregon began on January 2 when Bundy’s son, Ammon Bundy, and some 30 followers, most of them from other states, took over the refuge to denounce federal land management policies."

They're armed. But, give it to the Hammonds, right or wrong, they followed the law and accepted their convictions. The rest of these hayseeds are the detritus of hate radio and Trump rallies.

No surprises from the posters above who live in a country that never takes any risks while sending the economy into a black hole.

Must be comfortable living in quite desperation. Sure hope no one asks any of you to stand up for what you believe in, it's a BIG jump off of that fence.

And to any of you who are fellow American citizens, gfy.

David Fry's last broadcast words before he surrendered were, apparently, "I want a cigarette - and cookie." So apparently it was about snacks all along.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

No, pretty sure it was the cigarettes.

Nabbing head of the snake, al-Cliven, was a most unexpected and welcome twist in the tale of stupidity of Y'alQaida. It was an armed insurrection.

Now they can expect a lengthy stay with the federal gubermnint they hate so much. Good to see cool heads prevailed in the authorities right since 2014, instead of another Waco.

Heh, anyone hear them whining if they could just surrender and not get arrested in the last few hours of the showdown on their live feed?

Throw the book at 'em.

Y'alQaida.

Hahaha, I love it!

Shamelessly copied I must admit :)

Pretty genius nabbing the elder Bundy at the airport - his weapons in his checked bags, he was sure to be unarmed. Now, he's asking for a court-appointed lawyer. Oh, the irony! This symbol of the rugged west, scourge of government, bane of socialism - he is asking for the government to fund his defense!

The judge responded, "The court only appoints counsel for those who can't afford an attorney'' and ordered him to present a financial affidavit to the court before a court-appointed attorney could be assigned. They should add that charge to the million dollars he already owes taxpayers.

Ironic, though not even remotely surprising.

Laguna,

Welfare queens all along.

Heh, I hope they have enough vanilla coffee.

Yeah sad indeed. I haven't followed the crisis for the past week or so, so I don't know about these last four guys, but it is sad that the government will likely continue uninhibited with its land grab, to later sell exploitation rights to donors of the Clinton foundation.

But, give it to the Hammonds, right or wrong, they followed the law and accepted their convictions.

Yeah, they were threatened by the gov, they didn't have much choice.

Yeah, they were threatened by the gov, they didn't have much choice.

That's what happens when you break the law.

But at least those two weren't terrorists.

These men aren't/weren't terrorists as they did not threaten to kill innocent people. I think their grievances were just, but their tactics were wrong. If they'd been a wee bit more intelligent and actually thought this through, then it could have actually helped bring about some recognition to many people's grievances with the government as a whole. As it turns out, they went a bit too cowboy and wound up either dead or mocked. Better luck next time fellas.

The Occupy Movement

Ah. So their threats to kill law enforcement agents from the county, state and federal departments were legitimate threats against non-innocent people. Please tell that to the families of the policemen.

Now what was the tab for this occupation and where do we send the bill?

As far as I know, law enforcement didn't hire anybody extra for this incident nor did they buy any extra equipment. The only material expended would be the bullets and flash-bangs used when "I'm never going to jail" psycho-guy was taken down after crashing his Suburban.

As law enforcement was going to get paid whether they were manning a checkpoint or doing normal patrols, the tab isn't going to be much at all. Probably just the rooms and per diem for the out-of-town law.
