Good job and keep going!! The sabotages has nothing to do with freedom fighting but a greed of oil in Libya from western companies! If the US navy aircraft carrier intervene Libya's war against sabtages is an evidence of my theory is true!

I am stunned at people defending Gadhafi.

smorkian - why are you stunned?

Smorkian, NHK last night said that the foreign mercenaries defending Ghadaffi are getting US$5,000 a day.
"Right this way, your excellency..."

Also likely that many opponents are not Libyans. I'm sure some ordinary Libyans are also supporting him.

Oh THAT I understand. I don't understand how fully informed, conscious people could support him. Some of his citizens, especially those who have prospered with him as leader, sure. But people outside Libya? What good can be said about the man?

But people outside Libya? What good can be said about the man?" Well, just listen to Lois Farakhan....

Apparently you don't understand when I said people outside Libya. Outside being the operative word.

smorkian - same thing. Some people, believe it or not, probably did well with Gadhafi's government. The UK certainly did recently.

"The Kearsarge amphibious ready group, with about 800 marines, a fleet of helicopters and medical facilities, could support humanitarian efforts as well as military operations. "We're certainly moving assets to be closer (to Libya)," a US defence official told AFP in Washington yesterday."
Looks like the good old US of A wants to start another fight one would think they would finish the ones already going before getting involved somewhere else.

Was that enough? 400 US marines will topple Colonel Gadhafi's regieme? Over optimistic or wrong calculations?

Obama,
Nothing like strong leadership to help to topple this guy.

"the foreign mercenaries defending Gadhafi are getting US$5,000 a day"
Not true, they're only getting about $2,000 a day. I don't know how Gadhafi can keep good help with those paltry wages, lol.
This lunatic is toast.

Thanks Sarge. $2,000 bucks a day is a pretty good wage for hired guns from Niger and Chad.
It's actually not dissimilar to how the Sultan of Brunei held on when things got hairy there many years ago (he paid Gurkhas in that case to defend him against his own military).
Peace

They also get to operate with immunity for any war crimes that they may commit. Any guess which country insisted on the Security Council adding that little bit to the resolution on Libya?
