And once they've paid their fair share, they should pay double, and then triple their fair share. Its not fair that they make money, and work hard to succeed when others don't. They shouldn't get money for working hard and being successful. They should give that money to everyone else. Their money isn't really their money. Its the peoples money, and the people have the right to take it!

"Their money isn't really their money. Its the peoples money", that's quite right: bankers don't create or manufacture anything, all they do is redistribute money away from their customers to themselves. They sell "products" and take a chunk in fees. They churn shares held in unit trusts to gain commission fees for themselves. They short the "products" that they sell to their customers.
I think banking should be separated into retail banks, limited to providing current accounts, insured savings accounts and mortgages to individuals, and "casino" banks which can do whatever they like, but which will never be bailed out by the taxpayer when their gambles go wrong. This way there is no need for any extra taxes and consumers would be free to play it safe, or lose their money to banker's bonuses.

Truer words never written on the JT website, even if it was accidentally written by someone who in their confusion thought they were being sarcastic. However Johnson does have a legit problem, if you decide to base your economy on fraud, corruption, and accounting tricks, you do have to try to keep the fraudsters happy somehow.

Heh, so those responsible for this global mess will leave if their stash get's taxed by the government?
Good.
Solidarity in taxing these people in every developped country is the way forward. Perhaos these "gifted" one's will flee to Zimbabwe or some other hell-hole and show us why they deserve such payouts.
