I really don't care which party Cantor, even though I know he's republican, I hope they slap the book against Norman Leboon. There is no room for intimidation of any congressional member. < :-)

Wait, I thought it was just Republicans and Tea Party people threatening Dems. What happened to the Dem narrative? What happened to the campaign finance requests based off these evil conservative threats?

I'm one of the more unusual people on this site, in that I call it fairly regardless of the situation. When people screw up on my side, I admit it, when its on the other side, I point that out too. Most people, around here, are so partisan, they can't step back and see reality. In this case, the Dem narrative was so obviously off base, it was hard to take it seriously. Its amusing to see them thrown off by this obvious nutcase on their own side. The reality of course is that there are nuts on both sides. The fact that a philosophy is shared with a nutcase, does not discredit the philosophy, or the party, or the movement, unless of course that is what primarily makes up those who share that view. I don't believe either party is truly made up of nutcases, though from my perspective, it seems you have a greater prevalence of them on the left, then on the right.

"Leboon does not appear to be particularly politically active, but he does appear to have donated to President Barack Obama. On back-to-back days in June 2008, a man who called himself “Norman Leboon Sr” from Philadelphia gave $255 and $250 to Obama for America."

Leboon’s video also makes reference to Cantor’s Judaism – Cantor last week said he has received anti-Semitic threats in the past.

“Remember Eric at our judgment time, the final Yom Kippur has been given,” according to a transcript of the video in the affidavit. “…You’re an abomination, you receive my bullets in your office, remember they will be placed in your heads. You and your children are Lucifer’s abomination.”

Actually police have not been able to substantiate any of the claims of threats the democrats claimed they recieved and the brick through the window and the coffin left on the guys front lawn were all lies.
