Truly a tragedy. R.I.P. Mr. Gwatney. I sincerely hope you can look down from heaven this fall and see the work you were doing bear fruit.

Scary thing, I wonder if this guy's only motive was losing his job? Obviusly the shooter went off the rails.

One would think there is some sort of reason. If the shooters party registration is revealed, there will be a deluge of partisan bickering over what that reason is.

It does not seem like this was a politician that deserved to be shot, and I hope that the implications of that statement are not lost on you.

The shooter's political party registration wasn't mentioned in the other stories I have read about this tragedy, but a list of some of the books at his home were and they were of a very partisan nature.
