If these reports are true it is indeed horrific.

Somebody needs to go in there and help the Syrian government deal wipe out these crazy Al Qaida militants.

Why does Mali get help yet the Syrian government is left to fend for itself?

** as the country’s civil war increasingly takes on sectarian overtones.** Yup, sure sounds like religious sectarian overtones, killing innocent men, women and children for not being of the same religious sect of Islam, kind of reminds me of the mess that happened in Bosnia, etc..and many, many other countries, just different religions but same crazy ideas of trying to kill off as many believers as possible, and we are now in the 21st Century???
